I have ordered take out here a couple of times a year and it was always decent. Not sure what happened but the order we picked up for our annual New Year’s Day dinner was terrible. Peppers in the beef with black bean were raw, bland Singapore noodle, brutal egg rolls. Never going back.

Great food! Big portions, not greasy, great taste. Even helped customers bring large orders out to their cars. We use to live in the area but moved. Ordered again tonight and wasn't disappointed.

A nice family running this business and their general Tao chicken is worth it. Best price in town.

Quite possibly the worst Chinese food I have ever had. We had to throw it all out.

Bought the beef in peanut sauce and beef and black bean and both were terrible. Hardly any meat and loaded with green pepper. Don't waste your money. Next time I'm going to Frederick's.

If you grew up in The Woodlands like I did (1983 - present), you definitely know Chef Chan's is the best Chinese food around. When we have family come visit from other states, they always request we "order Chinese food from that one place" while they're in town. The Grogan's Mill Shopping Center used to be its home back in the day, but long story short, it's now at the Indian Springs Shopping Center where Lake Woodlands and Woodlands Pkwy intersect. THIS IS THE ORIGINAL "OG" CHEF CHAN'S!!! Give them all your money, and tell them that Anthony says, "Hi!" (I swear my kid's addiction to this place is legendary) ❤️
Favorites:

Wonton Soup
Mu Shu Pork
Roasted Pork Fried Rice
Chicken Lo Mein

Used to live in Markham and order from here all the time. Went back this week ordered food was disgusting and thrown on the garage.
SORRY guys, we’ve been a LOYAL customer for over a decade and then some ( lost track ). We moved from Markham and have NOT found a replacement for Chef Chan.We used too call in an order and they would recognize our voice and parrot our order too us.It’s a little hole in the wall place, a little nook at the GO station. If you’d blink you’d miss it, but boy was it a very special placeThere good people and we felt valued. However I think there been a change, and not for the betterIt’s been about 2 years since we’ve been back to Chef Chan. Our last two dinners were so bad the food wasn’t finished and THROWN OUT!Yes, we gave them another chance, because they WERE that good. It was always a race to the kitchen for the leftovers. Especially for a General or Sesame chicken sandwich on a crusty bread.General Tao (?) - If he was as good a General as our meal was , then they lost their battle.Sesame Chicken - Bland and I know it’s been my favourite for years.Curry something - It was a sloppy mess of “ I think it’s curry, right? “ If it wasn’t for the colour, you wouldn’t have known what you were eating.Shrimp dish - Was ok, but ok was for other restaurants not Chef ChanHouse rice - Fortunately that has never failed, but it’s NOT enough to keep us?SORRY no pictures with this review, it all went in garbage - NObody wanted it!SORRY Chef Chan, next time we try Tangerine.

A great place for fast delicious food! The food is great, prepped well and very tasty! A gem in the Markham district!

I recently ordered the Singapore rice Noodles. It tasted like Noodles seasoned with turmeric only. I guess because I was a first time customer they took advantage. It tasted very bad. Will never go there again.

Really high-quality American style Chinese food at a very affordable price.
