I had a cake made for my grandson’s daycare, I needed it last minute, with a list of ingredients and it had to be peanut free! Kelly and Laura were absolutely lovely ladies!! Kelly, you made this happen for me!! The cake was absolutely beautiful and the children loved it!! I will definitely be coming here for all my future cakes and baked treats!! Asked if they had brownies, was told yes and asked for one to try. An item was rapidly boxed out of my view and rung up for $5.75. Got home and found a day or two old stale cupcake (might have been over baked too) that tasted of carob and was topped by over-sweetened icing. Won't return there, and advise others to use caution or avoid.Too expensive and the quality is poor. Plus, anyone that doesn't know what a brownie is r should taste like (rectangular, w/o icing) shouldn't be running a bakery.

I got a butter tart and it was be most delicious thing I've ever tasted. I was questioning if I, a mere mortal, was worthy of tasting heaven. If I could only eat 1 thing for the rest of my life, it would be the butter tarts from here. 10/10

??? Vegan cake masterpiece ???Since going vegan a few years ago, I have sought muffins and cupcakes that remind me of the decadence of childhood, but without any animal products. ? Thank goodness a friend recommended Cupcake Junkie, from first taste I was amazed!! Ever since, I have purchased from them regularly, keeping cupcakes frozen in my freezer to be ready for any occasion! ?For my daughters birthday, she wanted a unicorn cake. ?? I checked with Cupcake Junkie, and they were happy to make one of their signature unicorn layer cakes vegan. I was able to customize for vegan strawberry frosting, and do vegan funfetti and purple sponge cake for the inside. Not only were the cakes (I bought 2!) gorgeous, but the guests were all blown away by the richness, flavour, and texture. ?? People could not believe the cake was completely vegan!! And hence, this review.

Ordered a dozen cupcakes, store needed an extra 10 minutes when I arrived even though I had ordered for a pickup time several days in advance. Not the biggest deal, I did order a latte while waiting but it wasn't made properly, not sure if the staff knows how a latte should be made, would avoid, though not really the point of the store so that's fine.Cupakes were hit or miss, some were better than others, icing was a bit grainy and overly sweet, and the cakes were undercooked and had a raw flour taste. Overall an ok experience, but not for my tastes. Staff were nice and friendly.

Ordered a cake for pickup on THANKSGIVING DAY and they were awesome enough to be open and accept my order. We ordered vanilla this time with vanilla buttercream and it was delicious. Everyone had nothing but compliments saying how the cake was tasty but not too heavy and the icing was sweet but not too sweet. They were fantastic with the designs and it’s always a professional and fun experience. We love your cakes!

I placed an order for my cake 21 days prior to my firstborn's 1st birthday party. Details and pick up time was agreed upon (documented in my emails) and I paid well in advance. The day of the party, the cake was not available for pick up at the specified time. After scrambling, tears and negotiating that this is not acceptable of Cupcake Junkie, their team said they deliver my cake to my child's birthday venue. The cake was delivered significantly later than the agreed-upon time. This delay had a domino effect on our celebration plans, causing inconvenience to not only myself but also my guests. The cake was delivered just 1 hour before I was going to be kicked out of the venue I booked. Some guest didn't wait for the cake as their toddlers had to leave for nap time or other commitments. The delay tarnished what should have been a joyous and memorable occasion. This is incredibly disappointing, especially considering the premium price I paid for it. No parent needs this kind of stress.
We tried cupcake junkie for the first time and ordered two large buttercream cakes for this weekend. We had originally made these orders weeks in advance. There were multiple instances where our order was messed up. We called in advance to see if we can pick up our cake by 11am. Even though we received confirmation via phone, the cakes were not ready until 12:20pm. Upon receiving our cakes, the first cake looked fantastic. The other cake did not follow instructions indicated on the preferred base colour and preferred colour borders as we were trying to follow the a birthday theme. The staff had to then scrape off the brown buttercream and reapply the specified colours which took an additional 20 minutes beyond our pick up time. Upon arriving to our party, the buttercream was not stable and fell over and the cake was completely unstable. Whereas the first cake was completely intact. It might have been helpful to be advised that the cakes require time to settle to allow the buttercream to sit. We called to escalate this matter with the store, and had explained our situation twice. We did finally receive our first apology for this matter after all that had occurred but was told that we have to wait for the manager to arrive back from vacation. We feel like there was a complete lack of care and attention. Our entire afternoon was spent trying to salvage the cake. Horrible experience overall.We are still waiting to receive contact from the Manager as a note was left from staff who couldn't assist us further. The main rationale for the 1 star is the lack of care and attention in the products. Owner mentions that the cakes signed off upon receipt almost 2 hours past our indicated pick up time. Upon review of other recent orders it seems like this is a reoccurring issue where the butter cream didn't have an opportunity to rest and the cake is unpresentable. Both cakes were transported together to the same destination. The first cake had an opportunity to rest, the other didn't due to the store's lack of attention on orders. If the response to a customer's complaint is "we should have received got points for getting half your order right", expect mediocre results from your order. Do yourself a favor and order elsewhere.

I ordered 3 tiramisu macarons, and they were delicious. The filing was generous, and the whole pastry was flavorful.The two women (on the phone on Tuesday and one in person today) I interacted with were friendly.I've been to many nut-free bakeries in the Greater Toronto Area and Cupcake Junkie is the friendliest one. I highly recommend their macarons and I will be back to try their cupcakes and other pastries.

Wanted to try a new bakery close by for husbands 45th bday. Had the cupcakes here before and they were amazing! We ordered a mini cake funfetti with vanilla butter cream, the cake was well below expectation, it had a wet texture to it, it was hard and dry. The bottom layer was very small the least to say. I wouldn't order a cake from here again, it was really bad and I love cake even if it's dry or not every frosted. There were large lumps of something in the cake we couldn't figure out what (maybe not mixed well).We tried to finish the left overs 2 days later had to end up throwing out 2/3rds of the cake.I wouldn't recommend a cake from this place.

Best service, I’ve been here multiple times and I always leave satisfied. The red velvet cake is my personal favourite, but even the cupcakes are delicious . I went in today and was given a complimentary ice coffee and it was just a wonderful time with positive energy!
