Delicious, a little expensive, but it’s a pity it’s closing.

Giving the food a 3* only because I never actually ate anything so I can't really say anything good or bad about it. But have always enjoyed the food at other locations, such as on Dundas in Toronto and the one on Yonge near Sheppard.Went there last week. Drove 30 mins to meet friends there for lunch. Both the website and the notice on the door said they open at 11.30. Arrived shortly after they "opened" - only to be told that we should come back in 30 mins because they had just opened and nothing was ready.WHAT??? Guys - if you open at 11.30 am, your cooks and staff are supposed to arrive BEFORE that time and be READY for opening time. Not that you all arrive at opening time and expect your customers to wait for you to get your act together. That's Restaurant Biz 101.If we were one of the few people who show up at 11.30am expecting to eat, then change your opening time and open later... but whatever time you do open, be ready. It's a simple ask. Not brain science.I'm not sure if Dagu is a franchise or a corporate owned restaurant, but someone is definitely NOT doing their job well.Shame on you Markham location. I will not give you a second chance and I'm sure other people feel the same way.

Only one staff doing service and he was too busy with takeout, barely serving dine-in customers. I had to walk up to give my order sheet, to get my takeout boxes, and to pay (after some waiting). Popcorn chicken was too dry.Flavour of tomato soup was nice, but got quite thirsty afterwards.

Tastes great, consistent, and comes with free rice noodles. The price is fair and has not increased in many years. It’s my son’s and my favorite!

You can’t change the small dishes that go into your soup. The original has no flavour compared to Yunshang rice

Way too salty. The only saving grace is the noodles.

Fast service, cheap prices. Love the unlimited noodles, but the sides you put into your soup is in small quantities.

Soup was hot and delicious. I love all the side dishes. The kid liked it as well. The service was quick. I would definitely come back to this location.

The soup is too salty and the fried pork chop is super salty, the side dishes are small and the price is too high.

As a franchise store, it isn’t disappoint you. Food is good, specially if you like spicy. Recommend deep fried chicken steak. Overall good taste and reasonable price.

Taste is usually okay. But the last visit I received a pork slice that has blue mold on it. After letting waitress know, she didn’t say anything and just replaced the one single slice.

My friends and I were craving noodle soup bowls during a dark and cold evening. My friends told me they've never been to Dagu and I was excited to take them. This hit the spot! The place wasn't busy and we were all pumped we got to pick our own individual flavours. Portions of the food was quite filling. The Dagu we went was clean, and pretty chill and laid back. The servers were nice and food came out quickly. We are coming back guaranteed.
