My experience at Denetre's was a mix of delightful flavors and missed opportunities. The ambiance was cozy, perfect for indulging in sweet treats. However, the service left something to be desired. Our waiter seemed to be MIA for most of the meal, as we had to actively seek them out for the bill and takeout container after finishing our dessert. Despite this hiccup, the food itself was a highlight. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, showcasing the skill and creativity of the pastry chefs. Overall, while Denetre's offers delicious desserts, there's room for improvement in their service to truly enhance the dining experience.

One of the best dessert spots in downtown Markham, the food is amazing and delicious. The potions are big and they offer extra plates to share. The ambience is nice. The staff are super friendly. Would recommend to anyone with a sweet tooth.

I ordered Split BananaReplacement: Mango Icecream instead on Strawberry, oreo instead of bananasOverall I loved the quality of all 3 icecream delicious ? flavors banana, vanilla, chocolate idk mango taste was something different dint taste like icecream taste like slushed icecream not sure the taste was something different this time

Honestly, you're paying for a nice hangout spot. This location especially is spacious, the decor is a conversation-starter and the portions are all for sharing (and priced like it too). Unfortunately like all Demetres the quality of food leaves something to be desired. Service was decent for a weeknight with friendly waitstaff.

First of all Demetres is my most favorite dessert cafe. I will still be going Demetres but not this location.We went there with five friends My friend and I ordered Tongue Depressor on a waffle. I asked for extra bananas she said they charge $3,5 for additional topping. Common that's not even one whole banana. The size of waffle has gotten a lot smaller and when I asked the server about it he said it was always this size which we all know wasn't. That wouldn't be a big deal if the waffles were cooked properly. It was soggy, doughy. We told the server she called the supervisor they brought the new one after 10 minutes and same thing. I just ate my ice cream and left more than the half of the waffle.( I came from work.) They never came to check on us, never took that raw waffles from the tableVery disappointed.Very bad experience

I haven't been to a Demetres since before the pandemic and it certainly was my first time at this location. Upon first entering, I saw quite a few tables that needed cleaning, but soon realized because there was only one server taking care of everyone (and it's not a small place (seating for 50+ people if I had to guess). This server, btw, was a rock star -- despite clearly being outnumbered, she eventually chipped away at all the cleaning while handling everything with friendliness an smile so kudos to you (March 9th afternoon).Decor was nice as was the plating of our waffles + ice cream. Wife, daughter and I shared the Splitsonian w/Liege waffle and the Tongue Depressor w/Belgian waffle. Everything was very good and surprisingly not overly sweet (which we liked). Ice cream was very smooth.I'm curious...I wonder how many people got the "Pomme Pilot" reference...? I feel super old -_-"Parking: No parking on the north side of Enterprise where Demetres is at, so you'll likely have to park on the south side where Cineplex is and walk over. There's construction going on so I hope that after everything is done, there will be some closer parking.Kid-friendliness: There's a "kid's" section in the menu, but let's face it -- the entire menu is a kid's menu :D

We went during a quiet time. So service and food was fast. The best demetres we've ever had, everyone agreed it was better than most times and most locations we went.

The atmosphere and the staff are always incredible here. This is a place that is always busy but never lets you down when you're looking for a sweet tooth. Lots of options that change seasonally. I would highly recommend getting something with a waffle!
