Conveniently located just 5 mins from Pacific Mall. We had the place to ourselves on a Saturday night! Excellent food and exceptional service. CASH only, preferably Canadian for best value.A bit pricey, but we’ll be back!

Decor was nice. Ordered the 4 person Lobster & Birds Nest set.All dishes were good. The following were standouts:-Crab Meat with Seafood Thick Soup: contained a ton of different kinds of seafood-Sweet and Sour Pork: not a part of the above combo and ordered separately, pork was very juicy and tender and the batter surrounding it was thin but crunchy-Prawn & Scallop with Salted Egg Yolk: scallops were very tender and the salted egg yolk added a very nice bit of flavor-Lobster in Hong Kong Style: lobster tasted great and the meat was tender, this seems to be the only restaurant in the area that still uses deepfried noodlefish to complement the lobster instead of French fries

** RIP OFF ALERT - DO NOT GO**Have been here a few times and gave them a few chances to prove me wrong. They only push the limit of RIPPING off the consumer more with each visit. In this particular visit, we ordered the 4lb lobster set meal. The soup is a "double boiled" soup and they use Virginia ham to add flavour, but the soup has a rancid flavour from the ham being aged a little too long in not so ideal temperatures. Secondly, the 4lbs lobster they advertise and show you are NOT the same items when presented to you. They show you a sticker with what appears the weight. But if you take a closer look, it indicates the item Lobster but it is only for the total PCS (per piece) which is conveniently 4.08/pcs. The lobster they took out were also 2 females with very large claws (yes I did pick up and took a look under to verify the abdominal swimmerets for laugh and giggles. When the HK style lobster was presented, only a 1/2 of a claw was found and a very obvious male tail piece was showing. The meat of the dish was also very evident this lobster was not freshly cleaned and prepared as the originals were alive and kicking which should be very sweet and have a nice mouth feel when eating. The lobster tomalley fried rice was with old lobster tomalley that was pre-fried and left in the refrigerator a while as it had a very fishy taste. Fresh tomalley is nice rich and buttery this was a disgrace to any seafood loverI know times are tough and they do very brisk takeout business so a few pieces missing here and there is acceptable. To blatantly switch up the items is very POOR etiquette and practice. The fish tank had 7 when we arrived and many tables did get the steamed live "sea bass" and surprisingly there were still 7 when I left. The other items were meh and the dessert of the night was corn starch left over bean sweet soup. There was ZERO taste (guess the chefs are scared of their own creation to do a quick taste test)The place is relatively clean and spacious and plenty of parking out front. But that's about the only positive items I can sayI DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL. Goto McDonalds and get a Fillet-O-Fish and you will be more satisfied

Great place for large groups that enjoy sharing and seafood. The staff will show you the live critters prior to cooking to confirm you like them. The quality is super fresh and tasty. All the different things they do to the food is amazing.

Typical Toronto Cantonese seafood restaurant located near Pacific Mall in south Markham.Must eat specialty was Canadian east coast lobster. We asked for garlic steamed cooking method, the lobster tasted very fresh.Surprise of the evening was the Plum Sauce duck. It tasted rich and delicious. All other dishes were normal.Service was decent. Decor was relevant.Parking: Plenty of free parking in front of restaurant.

One of my favorite places for dining whenever I'm in Toronto. Great lobster, crab, and sharks fin soup. It's pricey but well worth it. If you want cheap eats this is not the place. The service is good though the staff doesn't get gratuities so be understanding.

The Typhoon Shelter flavored Vancouver crab is delicious, but the taste is more sweet than spicy. The portion of the set meal for two is quite large. Probably not enough to finish.

The AC is too strong. Feel extreme cold inside the restaurant and the dishes get cold very soon. Food is ok but some of the dishes with chilli paste are cooked with too much salt/paste. Portion is big.

Got to try the lobster mountain, the best lobster I ever had!I come all the way from US New Jersey to try this restaurant, because it’s very popular among Chinese. The seafood packages have good price, you can have mixture of different popular seafood for a reasonable price. I tried the package with lobster mountain, stream crab with wine sauce, and stream fish. They show us the seafood first, so we know it’s fresh. I am happy with every dish, they are all super fresh and delicious. I can’t wait to come back and eat here again!
