We went there twice. Once in the late morning for Chinese Dim Sum, and another day for a late night dinner.Both visits rewarded us with delicious food, superb, efficient and friendly service!

Dimsum till 3:30 pm.Good variety, good equality.XLP is not my favorite not soup much inside, but overall quality is great…Sesame balls are special because they have delicious sauce inside .

Only discovered this place during the pandemic. Great quality and fresh dim sum for a good price. If you do take-out it's all one price. Also tried their combo dinners which were good and large portions. The ladies there are also always very nice. Would definitely recommend this place

Delicious dim sum! However, despite listed opening hours, apparently dim sum is only served until 3:30pm then they clean up and get ready for dinner service but the doors remain open. I had an issue with this today but after talking to a sensible server, it was rectified and I ordered take-out. They prefer cash payment despite there being debit/credit machines available.

Paid over $200 for a lobster dish, one fish dish and veggies. 3 bowls of rice was like $6ish bucks...Lol such a rip off I came here for the set meal courses because I wanted a variety of dishes that the server didn't bother to explain to me about and just kept hard selling me the pricey items on the menu. I can't read Chinese so that didn't help. She told me the prices but there's no menu for me to check so definitely not coming back ...

Dishes are about $20 each. Portion is big. Only one lady serves all tables for a Friday dinner. Called for bill and waited quite long. Be careful about the bill, because there was only one waitress she accidentally add something we didn’t order.

Since the Golden Tycoon opened we have been there 3 times for dim sum and the flavours were bang-on!The steamed pork ribs had just the right amount of black bean flavour, the dumplings and rice roll skins were just the right consistency (hard to find), just to name a few. Everything came hot, which is very important for the right taste profile. So for lunch I definitely would recommend it.For takeout, did it once but never again.I’ll let you know how dinner goes, next time.

This place's dimsum is decent (that's why we tried their dinner), but (take-out)dinner is horrible. Simply horrible. I would never go back or recommend anyone!Taste: Their chef definitely doesn't know how to cook canto Chinese food. All the tastes are wrong. My home cooking is even better.Ingredients: we order thr 5lb lobster combo that comes with a fish dish and 5lb lobster dish. The fish is very salty and not fresh. Salt-heavy seasoning is a typical technique to cover freshness of ingredient. The lobster has been dead for quite some time and has a very bad smell in the claw (smell like sewage). I had never been to any Chinese restaurant that serves dead 5lb lobster. Typical "twin lobster" can be non fresh from time to time due to the mass production process, but 5lb lobster is always fresh each time. The fact that they serve dead/dated lobster shows how sneaky they are.General cooking: dishes are watery in general. Reflect poor cooking techniques from their chef. Overall quality and presentation is below par.

We haven’t been here since just before the Pandemic, but after 18 months we enjoyed a wonderful dim sum. Definitely recommend trying this place.

Not a big restaurant. We morning tea and dinner there at the same day. Their dim sum before 11 am. SML are same rate. Their evening chef is very good. We have 15 people for dinner, we have fish, oyster, beef, ribs, lots of dishes. End up $ 30 each. Very good deal.

Way prior to the pandemic, I had my son's first month celebration here as well as my paternal grandmother's birthday when it was Golden Duke. Service was great, food was good, not overly pricey, not overly crowded.Fast forward to the first stage 2 of reopening, my wife and I came for dim sum. Food was still good, service was at a steady pace, tables were spaced out more then the required 2m distance, masks all around unless you were eating. I don't come out to Markham much, otherwise I would come here more often.

I had been to this restaurant twice in the past two months. Once was patio seating, recently was seat in. The first time in the patio was good. Food were good, service was good. Very disappointing for the second time, when 4 of us sat inside. It was quite a lot of people when we arrived. Even though I reserved a table. We still had to wait for about 10 minutes. That portion was fine. We sat down, and ordered food, seemed fine. Probably short staffed, some of the items were brought in about 30 minutes after we ordered. We asked for some hot sources, but we're ignored, so we got it ourselves. Then came to the unpleasant part, we asked for the bill, the worker took the paper, we waited and waited, no show. Eventually, my wife went to the front desk and paid there, after waiting more than 20 minutes. It was a Sunday afternoon, the restaurant was opened a week after the government announced the third stage. Did the owner realize that people were starving to come out, and prepare for the wave of customers to come it, and hired enough workers? Obviously not.I hope he/she learns the lesson and manages the restaurant better, or he/she will not see customers coming back.
