Got to try them at Bruce Mill during the maple syrup event. Ordered the chicken and waffles and it came with REAL maple syrup. Chicken was juicy and crispy, waffles were great and dusted with cinnamon sugar. Excellent!

How does a business like this no-show a festival.Your food is overpriced anyways, but you should probably get some proper management happening with this mess of a business.
When you make a commitment to an event, and confirm less than a week before....show up! Absolutely disgusted with the level of unprofessionalism showed! Will NEVER support this company

Before we make any appreciation posts, we would like to explain a few large issues that were unexpected.
Kawartha Pyrofest was supposed to have 5 food trucks, supplied by THE GREAT CANADIAN FOOD TRUCK, and they never showed, plus never emailed or called.
We also experienced 3 tent vendors cancel on the event day due to the heat, and then our entertainment for the children canceled due to an emergency.
Therefore, we brought in pizza's and asked the Lindsay Lions Club to sell it. The Lions Club deserves a huge shout out as they pulled us through the day for food!
We know it was not what was promised and apologize immensely, but when 5 food trucks don't show, and 3 tents cancel last minute, pizza was the best we were able to offer.
We attempted to get the already onsite food trucks to open, but they already had previous engagements elsewhere.
Please share this post so we can make it known that THE GREAT CANADIAN FOOD TRUCK never showed up or contacted us.
