I ordered the beef with rice noodles, it costs $10 bucks+ tax but only have 3 small pieces of beef in it, if you were me, would you go back??

There are plenty of parking spaces, banks, and elderly people drinking coffee and eating bread in the morning. The place is clean and tidy and the price is reasonable??

The service attitude of some waiters was extremely poor. As a waiter, he had a dispute with a customer!

Egg tarts were pretty good. This place serves light lunch sets in a reasonable price but it took quite some time before the dish was brought to your table..

A small bakery and cafe in the Hollywood Square plaza. The black and green sign outside shows you where the bakery/cafe is.Inside there's a small seating area for the customers who stay there to eat their meals. On the right side of the cafe is where the bakery items are being sold. The bakery sells Chinese buns, cookies and cakes. In the afternoon, there is obviously less bun choices available. The cafe sells Chinese dishes. At around 4:30 pm, it is rather busy inside the bakery/cafe. They only accept cash, no credit or debit cards. They don't have the machine for you to use to pay for your food. The majority of the clientele is that of the older generation (the grandpas and grandmas, and a few adults with small children).I chose the Pork Floss and Seaweed with Quail Egg bun. It costed me $2.31 (with tax added). The rest of the buns prices ranges from $1.80 to $2.90.The bun that I bought and ate tasted interesting. Salty and sweet... For some reason ithe bun tasted like it had bonito flakes on it. And the strange surprise was that there was a quail egg in the middle of the bun... Just sitting and hiding there ominously. The sign name was slightly different from what I got. The sign said it was something about minced pork floss, seaweed, taro, something something. Are the buns worth it for their price? No, not really. The flavor was good, but for that price of $2.31... it's on the expensive side of the cost of singular buns.I suppose I would go to the cafe side and order something off their cafe menu just to try the food they had to offer. The bakery cafe is one of the other restaurant locations in the Hollywood Square plaza, besides the Cafe Hollywood restaurant.Parking: The plaza is small, so finding available parking is a bit difficult. Depending on the time of day you go, the small parking lot is completely full.Kid-friendliness: Saw some small children with their parents get buns from the bakery there.Wheelchair accessibility: There is no direct way of getting into the building with a wheel chair. To be honest, I don't think there's enough space for a wheelchair to get into the bakery/cafe. A wheelchair could get into the sidewalk/pathway from either the CIBC small pavement ramp thing or from the Welcome Centre's small pavement ramp thing.

Huge portion sizes. There are lots of rice noodles in the bowl. Broth was not that flavorful. Meat was tender. Not much satay flavor. But the price is very inexpensive, so what should be a 3 stars is a 4 star.

Been coming here for years and sadly have to stop coming. You really have to WATCH the price that they charge you.Your items will get totalled and when you take your eyes off the till to get your wallet, the total will suddenly change by small amounts. They do it super quick, so very hard to catch but if you pay attention, it is noticeable.A real pity as I used to visit regularly before I moved.

Today is my second visit to Hai Tang within a week. I enjoy their food. I had Satay beef with noodles and a HK Milk Tea that was freshly made....nice and hot and very good pricing.

Tucked away in a small strip mall, this place is a hidden bakery and cafe that makes very good, unpretentious and tasty Asian baked goods. The smell of the tea and coffee as you enter makes you salivate. Definitely worth going in for a smart lunch, snacks or some baked goodies to-go. Yum!!
