No seating at this restaurant, strictly take out. Food does taste good. My attraction to this place even though the food is good has waned a lot. Small servings for big prices, specifically the roti and doubles a few bites and it is gone. After time the small portion sizes does weigh on you. I think other customers might be experiencing this as well. As the place used to be so packed a few months ago. I have settled to visiting here about 2 to 3 times a month, back to my previous haunts.

If you’re looking for authentic West Indian food (you’re from the islands your self) I would not go here. How ever the roti was fresh but the curry is the yellow curry not traditional Jamaican curry.

First time having doubles. It was great , the rice and peas was surprisingly good texture and flavour as well, loved the veggies that came with the rice. Will try the jerk next time.

I tried their curry shrimp for the first time and it was a solid 10/10! I wish I had gotten rice with it but the gravy was sooooo tasty that I literally had it like soup! The girl at cash is always smiling and pleasant which adds to the experience. So far anything I’ve tried from here has not disappointed.

This is a terrific place for a quick bite. My go-to is the curry goat roti. It’s prepared quickly and delicious. And very reasonably priced.
We ordered two trays of rice and peas for my mother-in-laws birthday. The service and professionalism behind the order taking was seamless, and not to mention delicious rice! Thank you!

I enjoyed the doubles ($2.75 each), but the roti was unfortunately very disappointing. I ordered boneless curry goat ($11). It is much smaller than other restaurants. There was barely any filling inside. I would say it was 90% roti skin, with 10% goat AND potato. I wouldn't return for their roti, but it's a convenient location to get decent doubles.

I really enjoy their beef patties ($2.50 ea.) Pretty close to a getting Tastee patty in Jamaica. Great crust. Forgot to take a pic of the patty itself cause I gobbled it down at the first bite ? not a big fan of the curry dishes etc - those are ok IMO. But the patties are always hot and tasty.

This is an excellent West Indian take out place and probably the best one in York Region. I recently went to a terrible one and wanted to elaborate on this review so that customers know what's good about this place: authenticity, variety and value. Firstly, this is the real deal - excellent dhalpuri, delicious curry etc. Secondly, very few places give you the option of choosing the fillings to this degree. I'm not just talking about chicken or veg etc. You can choose a spinach add on or ask for no potatoes easily on their website ordering form. I love how convenient this is! Lastly, it is affordable and excellent value. The place is very clean and the staff are nice. I would highly recommend it and come here on a weekly basis!Vegetarian options: Curry potato roti, Channa roti, Spinach roti and mixed vegetable roti.Parking: An outdoor parking lot for the plaza with ample parking.
