This is a lower than average so not utterly bad. Food quality is average but given this is Markham and not Europe, where good Chinese restaurants and food takeouts are not in short supply, it means the place has to work harder to compete and find a space in the crowded culinary map. Place and washroom are clean and presentable. As for customer service, it does not exist. You will be treated as dirt.

We tried them when they first opened and weren't impressed. We thought we would give them another try since we were running out of local food options. Sad to report that the food is worse than before. Noodles were undercooked and tasteless and the chicken wings lacked any kind of seasoning. Hakla food is supposed to be bursting with spicy flavours, but plain dough would taste better than the food here. We will not be returning.

Consistent quality. Food does not change. You know what you will get and it's excellent. You can opt for chicken breast instead of dark meat, which is a great option to have. I order from this place weekly and they never disappoint.

I go here often now that I live nearby.Wonderful family owned business l, great value and food is tasty.Always lots of extra dice with dishes and great to throw it in the fridge and make some fried rice days later.Love this place.

Food is not bad. My order was almost $80 around 5-6 items. They just gave me one small hot sauce. I asked for one more and the lady gave me a look and made it a big deal. I'm not sure if I'll go there again.
My go-to place for Hakka! In love with the American Chopsuey! Wonderful service, quick and precise. Great value for money.

Been here a few times for takeout. The first time was a couple of years ago and it didn't leave the best first impression. Ordered takeout a couple of times recently and based on the dishes we've gotten, not bad. We go simple. We've gotten their veggie dishes like green beans and eggplant and both were tasty - we always ask for less oil. We've also tried their crispy beef (we like the sauce) and their chili chicken which is also decent. Honestly - not a bad quick option for a weeknight meal when you're just looking for some simple rice and a couple of dishes.

Looks great, tastes even better! Just found my new go to for Hakka cuisine. Ordered the Bombay Chicken and the portion was generous and the flavours were on point. Looking forward to trying the rest of their menu

I had the pleasure of dining here with my family for the first time yesterday. Funny enough, it was their first day to open their dine in section so that was super lucky. Ivon (the owner) has got the best attitude towards customers. We got to know her abit, even gave my son treats post- Halloween. The food were delicious ? the reviews about the portion size were right. Healthy portions indeed! Enough to warrant another return to this restaurant in the near future!. Key note though, if u are ordering something spicy? Like Manchurian chicken, make sure to tell em how spicy u want it. Otherwise, u may be disappointed as i were when i ordered that dish. But thats my fault. Not the resto's. Next time I'll be sure to tell em the level of spice we can tolerate (real high for a foreigner/not indigenous to the hakka region).Anywho, highly recommended.The prices, in my eyes, were cheap. Other hakka places are up there and this place have recently jacked up their prices by a dollar after 3 long years but yet, it remains the Cheapest i have seen from peel region to markham. Quality, quantity, service and ambiance, all in ONE PLACE. Truly outstanding.
