I made the mistake of ordering from here again, since my last few orders were pretty similar. The sushi pieces are miniature and overpriced compared to other sushi places in Markham. The deep fried squid had barely any flavour and again the quantity was not worth the price. ??

The service is outstanding, very friendly staff. Comfortable seating food is very fresh and delicious. Good value for money. Very enjoyable dinner, highly recommended to try this restaurant.

Many Uber drivers cannot find the entrance and they gave up the pick up order. Please give detailed instructions of how to go to the restaurant, or fix the address . I placed one order, there were two drivers already gave up to pick up :(

Good food and service. Sashimi is fresh and they slice it very thick which I like. Sushi is tasty and with the right ratio of rice and fish. Totally recommend this place! My kids love this place too!

There are several sushi restaurants in Markham that we frequent but we thought we'd try this one. Mistake. Why did they have to sweep the entire dining room while we were eating? Without asking for his help, why did the manager insist on walking us through every inch of the lengthy menu, specifically highlighting the expensive items? Then talked down to us by suggesting we might like something "safe". Is that because we are older? or because we are not Asian? Also, we were repeatedly asked if we wanted to order an appetizer and dessert. From the get-go we felt rushed, and watched, so that I got to the point where I just wanted to eat and get out. They asked us on our way out to give them a 5 star rating on this site...which prompted this post. PS: The food came quickly and was just OK compared to other places.

Got takeout from this place via doordash for a coworker and myself. Thought everything was good until we realized THEY FORGOT TO GIVE US FRIGGIN SOY SAUCE!!! Luckily my coworker lived nearby work so she was able to save us even though it was incredibly inconvenient and negligent on their part.Didn't tell the store cause at that point we were just so hungry and looking forward to having sushi for lunch but just wanted to let others know that if you are ordering through an app, definitely call the store and ensure they include utensils, napkins and the soy sauce packets! Otherwise you won't know until you finally sit down and open the bag. Definitely not our driver's fault since the bag was already tied twice and closed. Food however was good and filling.

Order salmon and tuna poke via uber. Very mini size with very few pieces salmon/tuna and way expensive. Found hair in food. Very disappointed. Not recommended and never get back to this restaurant again.

I used to come here a lot before the renovation and before the new menu. The lady server who was in uniform, had a pixie cut and wore glasses was always attentive, speedy, and was consistent in providing good service. I always came back not only because the food is amazing, but because of the good service as well.My trip to this restaurant yesterday night was a nightmare. I decided to bring some friends with me to show them some amazing sushi. We were about to get served by the same lady again and she even remembered my usual order. I knew we would have a great experience UNTIL- our server switched to who I am assuming is the new owner; who CLEARLY never worked a day in his life at a restaurant. He said that the items I wanted to order were take-out only (Beef Teriyaki Rolls 8pc & Chicken Teriyaki Rolls 8pc) when the lady who usually serves me was about to punch in that same order as if nothing changed. Something was telling me that she knew that this new owner (& unfortunately her new boss) didn't know what he was doing by taking it off the dine in menu.He was forgetting our orders, used one friends cash to pay for another friends bill when it was already paid for via debit/credit, asked my friend for his card number to see if it matched the one on the bill that he had already paid for when we were about to leave already, and finally upon asking for the bills, he was serving other tables first before providing us with the bills for another 10 mins.To top it off, one friend paid for his $30 bill with a $50 bill and only received $5 back. I don’t know what the hell the owner was assuming when his service was so bad that he was expecting a $15 tip (50% of the bill). The owner obviously wasn’t happy when my friend went up to him and asked for his change back; when he should have provided his change in full.In between grabbing my two friends’ change who paid in cash, he was STILL serving other tables before he even got back to us.Quotes from my friends last night who have never been here before:“Guess who’s never coming here again” - 2/5 friends.“The food is so good but I would only get it for take out because of how bad that service was” - 1/5 friends“Who serves tables first when we’re waiting for our bills to be settled?” - 1/5 friendsTo add in my quote: I’ve never been embarrassed to bring friends to a place that I always went to and had faith in for good service until that night. I even got roasted for bringing my friends there in the first place; and honestly rightfully so. I wanted that lady who actually knew what she was doing to serve us.To the owner: stop working as a server. You clearly don’t know what you’re doing, and you’re going to lose customers this way if you keep serving when you probably know subconsciously that you’re not good at it.

Service needs a major overhaul! They don’t care enough who gets seated first or get to order food first. Arrogant almost. It seems they don’t really care if you dine there or not. New ownership and it already needs a attitude check.
