A place that serves warm smiles and hugs in the area. Breakfast here is nothing fancy but the old Canadian greasy spoon that warms you up, gives you the energy for the day ahead. The shop has been here for decades, food is always good, however business seems a little quiet recently. Gotta go there more frequently to support them because I really don't want to see this place gone. For anyone who loves a good old breakfast, please go there, you will not be disappointed.

Amazing place. So many regulars. Feels as close to the TV show "Cheers" and you can get with a breakfast lunch place. They love kids. Mine left with a lollipop, a smile and a pumpkin !

Absolutely fantastic place. Great food, great service and very friendly staff and owners. You will soon realize that you're not the only one that feels this way because the staff and customers are quite often on a first-name basis, which is very rare to see these days; it feels like you're having a big family get together every time you're there. They have a lot of good breakfast and lunch items on their menu, but I personally enjoy their French toast (w/3 over easy eggs on the side) the most.

Decent food. Pleasant environment. Prices are a little high compared to other breakfast spots. Food does taste good. Service is A1. Worth trying.

My favorite part of vacations is when I find the hidden gems in and around the places I go for my family and I. We were looking for a good breakfast spot since the ones in the hotels are usually overpriced and subpar. We did some online searching and found this spot. We stopped in here the day we were going to do some exploring in Toronto and we were welcomed as if we had been there many times before. The wife and I got standard breakfasts and the kids got bacon, eggs and pancakes. No one was disappointed. We had to go back the next day to make sure it wasn't a fluke and were treated like family which exemplifies the "welcome to our family" saying on their website. This was to the level that we had mentioned the previous day that it was my daughters birthday coming up and she was treated to a stack of pancakes with candles. My wife and I both got clubhouse sandwiches and they use real, perfectly seasoned chicken breasts. I dare say the best clubhouse I have had in many years of dining out! The owner Joyce, Tiffany and the rest of the staff exemplify the customer experience that should and will keep customers coming back. They obviously take pride in their work and go out of their way to make dining here an experience that people will come back for. This was the greatest restaurant experience that we have ever encountered in our many travels and we will be sure to return as we already feel like family even though there are many kilometers between us!

I've only been here once, but it was great! The food was ready quickly, it was fresh, portions were big and it tasted great! I got halfway through my meal before I realized that we get our drinks ourselves. Rookie mistake lol. People were friendly, steady traffic in and out and the food was worth the price for sure! Definitely worth a shot, I know I'll be back.

i can’t say enough about the warm energy in this place. they welcome you with jokes and smiles. They throw us free coffee. and extras we didn’t ask for like potatoes. the 5 stars isn’t because of the kind gestures. it’s the fact they put people first and are fanatical about having a good day and seeing others have a good day too.Food was top notch. It’s a quaint breakfast place after all. it’s exactly what hoped for.

Really friendly, mom and pop restaurant. Homemade meals and daily specials. Mostly full of guys on the go...ie. quick breakfast or quick lunch. Not sure if I'd bring young kids here because it's not a huge restaurant. But it's a great place to come in for lunch on a weekday for a hot meal! We have a kid who comes home during lunch and took him here on a Monday. We were lucky, came on turkey day! I don't know the price of each meal, but for the three plates it was $48.

My family and I decided to go to Milliken Restaurant on a whim, and we were so surprised to be greeted by not only great food, but super friendly service as well! There was a wonderful sense of community as each of the staff went out of their way to make conversation with the customers, and they also seemed to know most of their guests by name as well. We even had a chance to meet Joyce, the owner of the restaurant, who sat down with us and had a great conversation with our family. This restaurant is amazing if you want a great meal as well as an inviting and friendly, communal atmosphere to go along with it. I am genuinely looking forward to my next visit based on the service alone!
