A spontaneous craving for matcha led me to visit this neighbourhood cafe! Love the monkey concept (S = chimp, L = Kong) and all the fun coffee-related signage inside! Service was friendly & quick, and the cafe was very clean inside. It's always a good sign when a cafe has a small, curated menu!

The drinks were great. I ordered a hot matcha latte with sweetener and really enjoyed. I make matcha lattes myself but they dont compare. The service was great. I called before visiting and this cafe has no sit down time. Great place to do work.

I came to monkey hut cafe on a whim the other day in passing. I purchased a matcha late and it was hands down the best one I’ve ever had. It was smooth and creamy with a delicious flavour; I leave this review as I sip another one with a tarte taste, making me reminisce about the 10/10 matcha late this cafe provided me. I would definitely recommend trying this spot and will come again if I’m ever again in passing.

This cafe made a really good study spot on a Thursday afternoon. The staff was nice too and bought our drinks to our table for us. We got the masala chai tea latte and caramel macchiato, they were both really pretty good!

Service was amazing and the person up at the cash was so welcoming and down to earth. He gave great suggestions and had to step put for a brief moment but ensured us we could stay and enjoy our time. Prices were fair, but parking is an issue around copper creek. Will be coming back here for sure! A must try for people passing by/living in Markham!
