Love love love Ruru Baked! Family favourites are Cookies, Crème Brûlée, Miso Crumble, PB Brownie, Milk Tea and Viet Coffee. The ice cream is nice and creamy and flavours are on point! We try to make the pints last longer than a few days but so far, unsuccessful :)My 11yo: “I don’t know why more people don’t go here… IT’S SOO GOOOD!”

This places sells interesting and unusual ice cream flavours. I love the concept and the fact that you can buy a mini-sized portion. Ice cream is fresh. They also sell tubs of ice cream.I tried the everything bagel flavour, which was unusual but rather pleasant. The cream cheese ice creams was delicious and would strongly recommend making a strawberry and cream cheese flavour with it.

Ruru is a Toronto classic at this point. Their flavours are inventive and always yummy, and even their merch is really cool. My fav flavours are biscoff cheesecake, cookie butter, kinako brown sugar, and viet coffee.

Honeycomb cereal milk is soooo good. Has that toffee sponge. Matcha shortbread is pretty good. Lunar new year special: pineapple tart. Not for me, but partner really liked it. Like that pineapple cake/cookie at Chinese supermarkets crushed up

We got 2 $6 single splits and got the chrysanthemum, oolong, everything bagel, and rosemary flavours. The flavours were very accurate and tasty! I was surprised how accurate the everything bagel flavour was. We would return to try other flavours!Edit: one thing to note is that it's difficult to tell which flavour is which because the colours are very similar

Finally had the chance to try Ruru Baked and wasn’t disappointed. Best ice cream that I’ve had in a while. I had Mais Con Yelo, Banoffee Pie and Burnt Honey and Cornbread. Looking forward to trying other flavours next time :) Happy New Year!

Finally got to try Ruru Baked after seeing it all over instagram a while ago. It was definitely hard to find in Pacific Mall as I was walking around for quite a while and then stumbled upon it. There was no line when my partner and I arrived. The menu had flavours I've never seen before, like Everything Bagel and Rosemary. Unfortunately, they had signs saying no samples, which I find odd since these are unique flavours, I want to be able to try before committing to a whole scoop of it. Most other ice cream places I've been to limits their sample scoops, so I thought it would be the same here. You also have to go to their website to check the flavour descriptions. After debating for a while, we got: - Skyfee Sarap - which is like coffee with toffee pieces - Miso Crumble - brown sugar miso with small pieces of sesame crumble The single scoops were topped with a mini waffle and it was a decent size for the price. A scoop is definitely enough for me. Mine was the miso crumble and I found the flavour to be good but muted, I expected it to be a bit more salty because of the miso but overall the ice cream was creamy and didnt taste too sweet. My partner liked his Skyfee Sarap but did note that it was a bit too sweet. We stuck with what we felt were the safer flavours since we couldn't sample the others. Hopefully, the next time we're back in the area, we're a bit more adventurous and try some of the other more interesting ones.

First off, amazing ice cream, friendly staff members as well. The reasoning behind the 3 star rating is due to them not having the vanilla flavour. Their vanilla flavour is amazing and they release a daily menu on their website, which is helpful, but it’s been about two weeks and I’ve religiously checked everyday for vanilla, WHICH HASNT SHOWN UP.Will change this to a 5 star once vanilla is here. What ice cream shop doesn’t carry vanilla????

Probably the best ice cream I’ve ever had with a perfect balance of flavours. We got the triple scoop with miso butterscotch, cookies & super baked, and brown butter honey sage. They also had hand-knitted bag decorations and tote bags with super cute designs on them. Definitely coming back!
