Came at the invitation of a friend. Food is average, nothing special. But the view is fantastic. That’s the real draw to this place..

"An enchanting brunch experience at The Silo Grill at Angus Glen! The cozy ambiance, excellent seating, and stunning golf course views set the stage for a delightful meal. Their prompt service and willingness to accommodate vegetarian requests made our visit truly special. A must-visit spot for tea or dining amidst the gorgeous greenery of the golf club.

Looking forward to gold season. Love the club hate the sandwiches. Can’t see why they can’t provide better food.

Reserved 1:30pm, waited for 20 min to be seated. Burger, chicken waffles and sandwiches are all sold out. So we end up wait for 45 min for our avocado toast and it taste bad. The toast is mushy. Will never go back again.

It was our first time coming to the restaurant, as well as the golf club in general. We had a reservation for 530pm but we arrived early. The host was able to accommodate us and brought us to the table immediately. The space of the restaurant wasn't as big as I imagined, with only 12 tables - 4 seaters. However, they had combined a few tables to transform to long tables in order to accommodate 2 big parties. Perhaps it was the holiday season, we weren't given any water or acknowledgments 30 minutes after we were seated. Given that we had ample time to study the menu, we knew what we wanted for the night - their winter set menus. Initially, the reason for the visit was that we won their contest on Instagram for dinner of 2 on their set menu B, however, we asked if we could upgrade to the menu C and pay the difference, which, they were able to accommodate our request. Their set menu each comes with a choice of appetizer, a main course, a dessert, a non-alcoholic beverage, AND coffee/ tea. The pan seared atlantic salmon was definitely a winner! Crispy on the skin, and the salmon was cooked perfectly with it being juicy and tender and very silky-smooth. The striploin was cooked just the way we asked - medium rare. The red velvet cake was a nice touch to finish off our evening, but the cream cheese frosting was a little bit sweet to our liking. Other than that, the cake itself was soft and moist. The price of the set menu is tax and tips included, which is very budget friendly with the amount and level of food you get.

I'm back at my old stomping grounds! I worked at Angus Glen for a little over ten years, on the hospitality side of the business. While there have been several changes over the years, one thing remains - good food! I came here recently with a friend for lunch in the Silo Grill, overlooking the 18th green of the South Course. We kept it simple, with him having the Chicken Caesar Wrap and I had the Classic Ribeye Burger. Both meals were delicious, with generous portions and the cutest personal sized bottles of ketchup. The Silo Grill is open for public dining. Check them out!

In terms of food, most things there were delicious, with the Canadian eggs Benedict and the smoked salmon being notable highlights, while the sausages were the least tasty as they were a little bland and chewy. Service was great, as our waitress was very friendly and considerate! In terms of atmosphere, it feels very much like a business conference breakfast buffet so if enjoy that kind of atmosphere you'll enjoy eating here!

I have been here at least 15 times now and let me tell you, this restaurant does not disappoint. The food is always fresh and the service is wonderful! My husband and I have made it our goal to try everything on the menu at least once… we are half way there (the cod dish is my absolute favourite). The beer is always cold, the food is on point and we always get a gorgeous view of the golf course … what more could u ask for.

The food was alright, the service was great though! Our waitress was very engaging and fun, thank you for that. Aside from that the food was very mediocre and I won't be going back again. The view of the golf course was amazing and the golf course itself seemed very enjoyable. We ordered the "Rigatoni Pomodoro" which was bland but the sausage was nice. We also ordered the "Oven Roasted Cod" which was okay, I had higher expectations knowing the price point. Also, the vegetables were clearly frozen so that was a disappointment. I ordered a Strawberry Cocktail as well that was on the menu and that was nothing special as well. Service and staff were 10/10 though. But you should definitely try it out if you are interested as it may not just be for my palette.

My friend that goes by 2 names chose this spot for dinner last Sunday. Be sure to get a seat outdoors during sunset! The golf course scenery paired with the patio atmosphere during sunset can’t be beat. We ordered the Rigatoni Pomodoro and the Oven Roasted Cod. The fish was light and fluffy and the carrot purée went well with it. However we were disappointed as we thought there would be a crust on the fish like it said in the description; it seemed like there was just panko placed on top. The veggies on the side were also disappointing as they were mushy and watery as if they came from a frozen bag. The pasta was pretty standard and met my expectations. The sauce had a nice flavour and I enjoyed the sausage in it. We also ordered a strawberry mojito which was fine but nothing to write home about. Overall the food was on the pricey end for what it was but I guess the prices are for the setting they’re able to provide. If the food quality was slightly higher I would definitely be back to enjoy that sunset view again!

The atmosphere and service are excellent. It would be perfect if the lunch menu provides more NOT deep-fried shareable. I understand that today's lunch menu is a new one.

This restaurant got better and better every year, always look forward when they update the menu. The service is absolutely amazing, friendly and professional. The sunset view is always a bonus to add to your dining backdrop.

"It was one of the best experiences I had during my short holiday in Toronto. My friends and I came to your restaurant for a meal, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable culinary experiences I've had. The gentleman, who I believe was the manager, was incredibly helpful and attentive, checking on us multiple times at our table. His friendliness and engagement with customers throughout the evening were truly remarkable. The food was exceptional, and the portions were generous. I want to express our sincere gratitude for making our moment truly exceptional. We are definitely planning to visit your restaurant again in the future. Thank you!"
