We’ve always had great service at this location and the staff is always accommodating for larger parties. Food is always fresh and well-timed when ordering as a group.Vegetarian options: Being vegan, I do appreciate the vegan Southwest has option. I only wish there were more peppers and mushrooms as in the advertised photo. Every time I order this, it seems to be almost all potato and less of the other vegetables.

Ordered $1 pancake special today - Feb 13. First time to this restaurant at Markham Road. Restaurant is big and nice and new. Staffs are welcoming. I only ordered take out pancakes! I brought my own container for the pancakes! Kids said the pancakes taste very good! Next time will bring my kids to dine in here for breakfast ??

I normally love Sunset Grill but they've lost a step. Their tables are SO CLOSE TOGETHER, you can't comfortably sit & dine! Customers end up angry with each other. Also, It looked like they were short staffed so the service was slow. It was super busy on this past Saturday so that's good, business is booming, but the squeeze between tables is a dealbreaker for me. I won't go back if that's how tight the tables are! I could sit at Coras or Eggsmart in comfort...Update 1/20/24 | The space was better. Still a bit snug for my liking but better. Food & Service are always good.

Went there at 1pm on a Saturday . Was not very crowded . Waited 10 mins for a waiter to see us before they asked us to pick a table .Another 10 mins to flag someone down to give us menus .I ordered an avocado toast . There was a smear of green paste on it at the most . Not worth it at allMy friend ordered the sunset omelette . It was so oily we literally had to dab the omelette even the home fries.Will not come againParking: Lots of spots , free parking
Let’s start with the good, location is very convenient and ample parking. The service was very good although we were in the busy end of rush hour, with only one really overworked waitress who handled everything with military-like efficiency. Here’s what needs improvement: I ordered the Salmon Eggs Benedict, the poached eggs were overdone…not inedible but almost, they were overcooked, the yolks were solid mass, the whites were quite rubbery, thank god there was ample Hollandaise sauce. Obviously the eggs were done in the microwave to achieve this rubbery texture. Note to self: do not order anything with poached eggs. However, my lunch partner ordered the Avocado Toast platter which he enjoyed. They did not have the limited special which was Crab Cakes Benedict which was advertised on their website, but considering the horrible poached eggs, it may have been a blessing. So I will recommend only ordering simple dishes, eggs fried but skip the poached eggs.

Went here about two months ago. Food was pretty bland. There were some small hard objects (pebbles or maybe small bones?!) in the potatoes I ordered and I let the staff know. They took my half eaten food to the kitchen and came back ten minutes later with no apology, no offer of discount or even a fresh plate of food. I was given the bill and I felt like I was rushed out of the location. Would NOT recommend this location under any circumstance.
