I’ve been eating at Tangerine for years. I’ve noticed the food is still decent but the customer service is horrible. The lady who takes orders is very rude and condescending. When asked to place orders, she asks you question of what you want and when you are confused, she sighs really loudly and rolls her eyes. She never provides any suggestions and doesn’t greet well either. I expect better service especially staff who are going to take orders.

Absolute garbage food. I specifically requested all my dishes to be nade spicy, but they had not even a flavor. Seems like the chef really wanted to go home early tonight. The server never once stopped by my table to ask if the food was okay. I will never visit this location again. Worst $60 I've ever spent and I'm sure I will not get my money back.Tangerine Markham owner, are you reading this?If I could give this restaurant zero stars, I would.Vegetarian options: Don't eat here. Spend your money somewhere else.

Ordered thai green curry, chicken sweet and sour.. two different soups, chicken pakora and crispy beef..and hakka noodles..out of everything only chicken pakora was of some taste.. rest were poorly made. Green curry was horrible.The service was ok. Some of the food wasn't warm, seemed like it was just lightly put on stove and handed over.And on top they charged service fee on the bill..There are much better chinese hakka restaurants around..dont waste money here.

Mid-tier Hakka food. Ordered a lot of different dishes, too many to review. But ultimately underwhelming. Our fault for not looking, but there's an auto gratuity on the bill. The tip ended up being around *$68* for our party.Would have liked for them to remind us that tip was included, but I guess they can modify the famous saying as: "never interrupt your customer while he is making a mistake" here.

Came for the lunch special and there was a literal strip of plastic in my rice (like the kind of plastic that wraps around cabbage). They offered only a 50% discount for the issue (or remaking the rice) and the server was upset that they didn’t get a tip.
