Great Spanish food menu and portion size. Not too many chicken options but that's alright I guess.Ample parking space. Inside ambience is excellent.

Dropped by for lunch during the weekend where we ordered the following: Mushroom Croquetas, Grilled Pulpo, Endive & Radicchio Salad andPaella de Tapagría. While a tad on the expensive side, everything was really delicious with welcoming service. Would definitely recommend checking this place out.

My parents held their anniversary dinner here recently and asked us to partake w/ them.We were sat in a booth near the entrance so it was kinda chilly everytime someone opened the door haha.Service was quite good from our waitress (I forgot her name)!Lychee & tropical sangrias: My bro got a lychee sangria. I tried the tropical one. I think the lychee sangria was more unique. The tropical sangria was too familiar of a citrus juice kinda taste.Truffled beef sliders: You get 3 in one order. The meat was juicy but I do wish they patties were larger in diameter. The buns were toasted but they were much larger than the patties so you end up w/ bites of bare bread. I think if they increased the size of the patties to get meat in every bite these would be fantastic.Mushroom croquetas: For a veggie dish these were quite tasty! The outside was very crispy and the inside had an almost risotto texture inside. I thought it would taste very potatoey but the flavour of mushrooms permeated the inside all the way through. It tasted like cream of mushroom soup.Beef empanadas: These were good but BEWARE you only get 2 per order. So at a $10 price point, I would say this dish is a rip off ($5 for ONE empanada??). Prolly would not order these again even though the beef inside was rich.Broccolini + romesco: I actually quite liked this dish. Broccolini is somewhat of an acquired taste. It has the bitter aftertaste of an asparagus but the bulbs of broccoli. I think the seasoning was on point and the bitterness was offset by the acid of from the romesco sauce.Half grilled octopus: UBER tender octopus tentacles. Presentation-wise there's no doubt this is a showstopper. The tentacles were a lil bit too charred for my mom's taste but I liked that blackened taste off the grill.Roasted bone marrow: Cool to try once and snap photos but honestly not worth the $19 price tag. It's not even a full marrow. It's like one half of a bone. If I return I most likely won't order this again.Miso cabbage + iberico: I was ok w/ this dish as I can eat spicy but it was probably the least liked dish by everyone. The miso was very strong and clashed w/ the strong flavour of the iberico. Add the spiciness into the mix and you just have a very strong tasting dish without much balance to cut back on the richness.Paella de carne asada & paella de mariscos: We ordered 2 paellas. The one w/ all the meats and the one w/ all the seafood. I think we unanimously liked the seafood one more. I think cooking all the seafood w/ the rice let the seafood juices permeate through the rice so it was extra umami. The steak was slightly overcooked in the meat paella as well.Churros: For dessert, we ordered churros. You get 4 in one order and it comes w/ what looked like dulce de leche. The churros themselves were perfection but the dulce de leche was too liquidy in consistency imo. It should've been much thicker. It was also lacking that "oomph" and was too mild in flavour.Final thoughts: At almost $500 (for 5 ppl), I think it was definitely overpriced for the portions you get. Sangria, paella, croquettas, octopus and broccolini are must tries. Would only come back for a special occasion but not on a regular basis. It's way too expensive to dine here regularly. I understand tapas means "small plates" but I wish they would be a lil less stingy on some of the dish portions like the empanadas (give at least 4-6 for the $20 price tag)!

Went for my mom's birthday. Service was warm and friendly. Food came out at a steady & manageable pace. Really delicious & brings back memories of Spain for me. Definitely order an assortment of tapas and make sure to order a paella in advance. My parents really enjoyed it and everything was well prepared. 100% coming back with others.

The dining experience was marked by excellent service, though certain dishes seemed overpriced relative to their quality. Despite the anticipation, the octopus proved tasty but unfortunately had a slightly rubbery texture

I came to this place to experience Spanish tapas. The food here was pretty good, but also really pricey. Service was excellent and the decor was also very nicely done. I definitely had a nice experience here. Next time I will try a paella, many tables ordered and they all looked delicious.

Sunday night date night was our first time eating at Tapagria. Our server was delightful and authentic, the food was very good. We tried 6 tapas dishes. Our favorites were the deep fried mushrooms with aioli, the empanadas and the broccolini. The restaurant was large and well laid out. The restaurant was about half full (we had reservations after 7pm) which made the noise level just perfect to be able to have a nice conversation.

An amazing meal. Great selection of Tapas and sharing plates. The croquettes, empenadas, and brunch items were all tasty, fresh and great for sharing. The paella was just as delicious. Just when you think you've had enough, the churros and toast were a fantastic way to finish the meal accompanied by an espresso.

We liked the food in general but the mushrooms were not described as deep fried in batter. That's pretty important when avoiding foods like that. Also we order the black paella and it should have been provided with decent wedges of lemon. We had to ask for it and received 3 small wedges which looked like they were more for a bar drink. It's all in the details guys..... Otherwise a good experience.

Great food and selections. Our server wasn’t the smiley type but we didn’t feel offended or negative attitude so it was fine. They kindly let us blow candles on our cake so that was very appreciative.Their place is spacious.Paella was great but was too small for 6ppl. I suggest you order 2 for large group. Our server said it will be ok to order just one with other dishes but we still felt hungry since this place is a tapas style.

You will know how efficient and established a restaurant is by how they perform during a busy evening.Well, yesterday evening being Valetine's Day, was an absolute disaster. I anticipate there will be more reviews like this given that majority of the people in the restaurant were frustrated and some even walking out. They clearly overbooked, are inexperienced and their serving staff were mentally (and physically) in a different place altogether. From the moment you came in, there was a SWARM of people just waiting in the non-existent waiting area. The front of house person responsible for sitting people was in the kitchen helping serve food.Once you were seated, it took close to 20 minutes JUST TO BRING US WATER. The waitress that was serving us came to our table maybe 3 times, spoke limited English and would on purpose walk in a different direction to avoid our table because we would ask her where our drinks are.We were 3 plates into our meal when we had to ask the Manager about the status of our drinks, which he claimed they are being made, meanwhile we look back and see that our waitress was looking up to see what we ordered and began making them.We arrived at 7:50 and didn't leave until 10:15. This is how a restaurant looses money as they cannot turn their customers in and out within a reasonable time. The ambiance is nice, the food was decent which made the experience tolerable. Will not be coming back.
