Friendly service. Ramen had ample toppings. However, the broth was super oily and lacked any flavour, just bland. Char-siu was subpar. Sashimi sliced very thin.

A small Japanese spot serving ramen, udon, and fish sets.Seafood Udon Soup:- good variety of seafood (shrimp, mussels, and surf clam) that were fresh and delicious- noodles were bouncy and nicely chewy- soup was clear and flavourful, but perhaps a little too sweetGrilled Saba Set:- mackerel was tender and mild in flavour, a bit weak in seasoning- rice was quite firm, and felt like it lacked something like a sauce to go with the fishOverall it is a little pricey for the quality and amount of food ($19 udon and $15 set), even with an additional 10% cash discount.

The black garlic, shio and chicken ramen were all amazing. The chicken and pork were perfectly cooked and still tender. The ramen noodles were a great bouncy texture, not soft. The onsen egg was also perfectly cooked. The staff are dedicated and pleasant. The prices are average, $15/$16/$17, typical for ramen places. The portion is also average. 10% off with cash! Can’t wait to come back and try other ramen bowls.
I was somewhat skeptical of this place due to its location being hidden in a corner of the plaza, but I was pleasantly surprised by how good the ramen is here. I ordered a chicken shio ramen and it was terrific: The chicken broth was excellent and the noodles were perfectly cooked to order. The chicken itself feels like a nice compliment to the noodles. The store also serves ice cream at the end of the meal.

As a big fan of ramen, I had to try The North Japanese Noodle bar!You can find all the popular ramen menu here. Something special about this place is that they have a meal set, which comes with rice, one main dish and several side dishes. My son and I ordered a roasted garlic, spicy miso, and a taster pack which has chasu, egg, Tacoyaki, salmon sashimi, rice, miso soup, and salad. Which seems like a normal Japanese meal that you can have at home.Ramen was good, but not the best I had. However, they had the best soft-biled egg ever! The yolk was perfectly cooked (or uncooked), it is perfectly marinated in soy sauce, and the yolk was warm!Roasted garlic was a bit too roasted. Spicy miso was better, but the noodle could not keep up with the broth. Spicy miso broth was excellent, and matches much better with rice that came with the taster pack. The service was ok.The price was really good. This place will give you an excellent value for your money.Parking: There is a large underground parking.
Been there since their soft opening. Price is very reasonable. Amount of food was great. The one thing I wanted to compliment today is the customer service. He came to me and apologized that the sashimi is not fresh and offered something else to me instead! ?????? to him.Been to so many other Japanese takeout restaurants which they didn’t care about the freshness of the sashimi and I didn’t find out until I got home.Highly recommend this lovely local restaurant———Edited on 2024/01/07.I ordered a torched salmon rice bowl, and ask them not to give me rice. Knowing my diet restrictions (no carbs), the owner replaced the rice to a big bowl of salad for me.His home made salad dressing tastes so delicious that I have yet found a replacement elsewhere.I can’t compliment enough how good this restaurant is and It is now our go-to restaurant when dinning out.
Sub-par Ramen - I don't typically go to Ramen places that are not owned by Japanese and this is why. We had the shio Ramen and creamy chicken Ramen. The soup base is sub-par on both. The egg is amazing though..

Tiny place. Three tables and a bar-like place. Sashimi nothing special, just get the noodles. Katsu was nothing special as well. Torched salmon was good, not extraordinary.Dietary restrictions: No nuts at all in the restaurant.

Very cozy Ramen place. Seats are very limited but it feels like a small Ramen house in Japan. Ordered Roasted Garlic Ramen and it is amazing. The broth is thick and delicious. The noodles are smooth and chewy. And the aroma of roasted garlic is irresistible. House Pasta is also delicious. The sauce is creamy but not overly thick. If you love Asian fusion pasta, you need to try it. Highly recommend this place.
