Great spot for lunch in King Square! I checked out this spot based on my mom and aunts recommendation, after pickle ball upstairs. It's catered to the Hong Kong palette, of a quick and filling meal. Servers are quick to bring menus and tea, the thermos for tea is kept at the table so you can refill easily. The soup noodles are cooked well, not too salty of a broth. The 3 of us ordered 2 soup noodles, congee, and fried wontons. The congee (not pictured) came with peanuts that were so good, I ordered another plate of it at no charge :) fried wontons did not have much flavour for the wrap, so there's a sweet and sour dip that compliments it. The place doesn't get too loud inside, but expect to wait on some benches at the door during the lunch hour for 15-20min.

Buzzing little restaurant with delicious food. My favorites would be the liver porridge and the wonton noodles. Every portion was generous with a very reasonable price. You'll leave this place satisfied and fulfilled. Although we can't book a table, the line isn't long and we are quickly seated.

Best noodles and congee restaurant in Markham. Great (a bit big for me) portion and everything tastes great. Most of the servers are nice and friendly. Please consider not closing so early at 5pm. Sometimes I hope to come over for dinner!

Wonton noodles - The noodles are smooth, the proportion of shrimp and pork is just right, and the shrimp makes the taste more layered.Net dumplings - as good as wontons, even more delicious with fungus.Pork-run beef porridge - smooth, good porridge baseFried Dace Fish Balls - Soft and delicious, hot until the end of the meal

Waitress seated us quickly upon seeing us. Not a lot of seating. Very open concept. Ordered a bowl of noodles with wontons and bowl of noodles with beef tendons. Would have liked to have more wontons because there was only 4. The wonton size was decent. Would have liked more beef tendons. Also, want more noodles. Expensive at $12 a bowl. Would have liked the portions to be a little more. Food tasted great. Cashier was fast and friendly.

Do not order wonton noodles.Came here on a weekend at noon with a family of 6 people and waited an hour to get seated. I personally ordered the wonton with rice noodles and that tasted horribly. The soup was super bland. The wonton was not good (frozen wonton you can buy at the grocery store tastes better). The rice noodles absorbed all the soup and half way through the meal, I did not have much soup left (I had double the amount of noodles compared to soup ratio). The worst part was I ordered a side dish of $6 vegetables so I can eat it with my noodle soup, but that arrived last after I finished the meal (even though I rushed the veggie order 3 times). Also, it took a super long time for food to arrive for other members of my group, most people were done eating when 2 people received their food at the end. I also had to ask for the bill 3 times for the bill to actually arrive at my table. This restaurant definitely needs to improve on operations. In my opinion, wonton rice noodles would have tasted similarly or better at the food court than here. I had a horrible experience and I would never come back. I would mention that their beef dishes are better than the wonton dish I got. Those at my table who ordered beef noodles actually tasted decent.

Ordered the chicken congee, there're lots of small chicken bones fragments in the congee. I didn't enjoy picking out the bone fragments from the congee, and it's a risk of choking.

We ordered beef brisket hor fun, mixed congee, dough stick rice roll and dumpling lo mein. Food was good but can't say it's better than the same dishes we can order in other similar restaurants, especially given that the prices are higher than average and portions are smaller than average. The service was lacking. We arrived after lunch rush and there were more employees than customers, yet it was still hard to get the attention of a server. We also asked for two cups of water for our kids and never got them - the second time we asked for it, the server just said that it comes from the kitchen and walked off. I don't understand why it's such a challenge to give us two cups of water??Note for parents with babies and toddlers, this restaurant does not have any high chairs or booster seats.

Very Good Congee & Noodle,The Kyoto-style zhajiangmian with a hint of spice, sourness, and sweetness impressed me,though a bit oily towards the end,you can dipping in the soup will be even better. Rice roll is very good too. The efficient kitchen and quick service, especially during busy weekends, contributed to a positive experience.
