We have now visited Miner’s restaurant on a few occasions. As I myself helped open a large chain restaurant in Ajax helping the kitchen, as well as being a Breakfast and Lunch Chef in a castle for 3 years, also cooking for large weddings held in the same Castle/private school, I do have first hand knowledge of food service industry. BREAKFAST: We have tried their Bonanza Breakfast, Classic Breakfast, Pancakes, as well as the Eggs Benedict. I have to say we have not been let down! Their food is delicious, and always consistent. I would recommend any dish here, as I am confident all dishes on the menu are great. LUNCH/DINNER: I haven’t enjoyed as many lunch or dinner meals here as I have breakfast, but I did enjoy a couple. Once again, the food has always been served hot, with fresh ingredients and well prepared. We most recently tried the fried chicken. Being a Marmora resident, I can say, that the fried chicken is the best around. The first thing I noticed is that the chicken was fried perfectly. Using clean oil. Many restaurants neglect their fryer oils, and I for one notice instantly! The chicken was decent size and cooked perfectly. The spice and flavour is comparable, if not better than large chicken chains I’ve tried previously. I upgraded to the Lattice fries and was worth the upgrade. I definitely recommend this restaurant, and try the chicken! It’s great!
Excellent food! The bowl of gold is my favourite!! So yummy! The clubhouse is excellent too!! Great, friendly service! Love that the owner stops to say hi and asks how your meal is. Very nice atmosphere. Can’t wait for the patio to open! Very grateful to have this in our little town.

We called Miners Restaurant to help with a large take out Lunch order - they happily customized the order for our team. Chicken Alfredo, Ceasers Salad and Garlic bread was Fantastic! Highly recommend Miners Restaurant for large take out order. Great price, great food and very accommodating!
