Ordered a party platter. Picked it up. Cash only. The sushi rolls and the nigiri all tasted off like...the fish slices were old and the rice was a few days old. It was terrible. My partner and I had an upset stomach a few moments after. This experience had completely turned us off from consuming anything from this establishment again.

The attitude of the owner/server is very rude. Seems like I am begging them for food. Give you a poker face, no thank you and he just throw your change on the table and walk away. It's not even busy at all. Food was okay with the price. Tempura is tough as rock, salmon teriyaki is super salty and burned. Maki was okay.

The sushi has become "just" ok and service at Arigato has deteriorated - over the last couple years.The portions have been almost halved and prices raised, to be expected I guess during these days of shrinkflation.But service and food quality. No excuse for failure. It's impossible to call in a take out order as they don't pick up the phone so your forced to go there to order and then return 2 hrs later after they prep it.I am a loyal customer but it's becoming hard not to just go elsewhere where i'll pay slightly more but get quality food andservice.gat-ihaja folks.

You get what you pay for. The spicy salmon roll and udon is decent. Tempura and salmon sushi was not good at all. I found the service was pretty bad too, I don't know if the lady behind the cash and chef at the back are the owners but they are miserable, they look like they hate being there. I guess if you're looking for cheap sushi this fits the bill but I don't think I'll be back unless I'm at the mall and need to grab a quick cheap bite.

I want to share my bad experience with Arigato Box. I ordered Bulgogi shabu shabu which comes with beef glass noodles vegetables in soup and rice so when my order came its just few beef, few vegetables and very small container of rice but no glass noodles. I called them and ask why no glass noodles when it says on the menu with glass noodles and here's what they say "ma'am we run out of glass noodles so we made the option not to put it." so I said "it's included in the menu as ingredient and I paid full price and you just decided not to put coz u run out" so if I ordered chicken teriyaki and they don't have chicken they just gonna put vegetables coz they don't have chicken! So tell me people is it fair what the manager did! ? I share this to you guys to think first if u still want to order in this resto or if u do, better check that you get what you paid for especially everything now is so expensive. Bad, bad experience!

The chicken tasted like it was boiled (not grilled or pan fried) and then dumped with a load of tasteless “teriyaki” sauce that doesn’t even taste like teriyaki sauce. I couldn’t believe it! Even putting some commercial Kikkoman teriyaki glaze would’ve tasted better. My hope was gone already. (Also note they had bean sprouts in the mix ?).Move onto the sushi and included rolls, the rice was mushy and definitely not fresh (pre-prepped). The tempera included 2 pieces sweet potato and 2 shrimp...all 4 pieces were super thick battered and even the chinese-owned Japanese restaurants were far superior to these abominations.So in conclusion, the worst was the teriyaki chicken (I didn’t even finish it). Second worst was sushi/maki, third was the tempura. I definitely would avoid this place and search further for my Japanese food fix!*The price was $12 no tax, which seemed very generously priced I’ll admit. But wow during the meal, I couldn’t help but feel ripped off. Maybe the high reviews were from prior owners (Covid could have made for a change of ownership), but most recent reviews of this place are really really bad....what a shame.

The cashier (Japanese heavier set gentleman) was extremely rude! Last time I was there I ordered the salmon terriyaki and it was dry I asked him if he can make it less dry this time and he replies umm ok.. No customer service whatsoever. He doesn't smile at all and when I handed him a bill he ripped it out of my hand. When the lady takes the order its whole different experience she is much more pleasant. He made me very uncomfortable. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING!

Nice thick cuts of sashimi, good selection of bentos. Rolls are all quite similar. If you order a party tray, they need at least 30 mins notice. Lady at the cashier is kind. Good place for sashimi!

Last time I was there I ordered the salmon terriyaki and it was dry I asked him if he can make it less dry this time and he replies umm ok.. No customer service whatsoever. He doesn't smile at all and when I handed him a bill he ripped it out of my hand. When the lady takes the order its whole different experience she is much more pleasant. He made me very uncomfortable. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING!

Sushi was ok. Rice was densely packed and a bit hard. The side of ginger smelled of ammonia. Could not eat it. Presentation was nice. The fish was overall ok. I'd give it another try as we ordered when it was really busy.
