Bam-bou house is the best Hakka in the GTA. Ever since they changed the chef, food has always been delicious. Highly recommend fried rice. All curries are good. Location is great. Service was always top notch. I have eaten at many Hakka places in the GTA but nothing beats Bam-Bou.
Worst experience - went to give my birthday dinner and the food quality and taste was an embarrassment. All ordered food tatsted stale - could smell the chicken and prawns … never going back again.

Food was okk but the service was amazing. The server I don’t know the exact name may be nia she gave us best service. The one and very frustrating thing that i observed is owner behaviour. The guy who is always wearing a blazer he always rounding around the tables and staring at girls continuously. Even he always try to find the way to go to the girls tables and start doing chatting with them. If you are serving best quantity and quality so why you need to do so. This thing so disappointed for me every time.always make strong mind if you are planing to go with girls.

Best food and service. Chilli chicken is great. Sweet corn soup is delicious and the Manchurian fried is very authentic and perfect flavor. Make sure Areeb is your server. Made our experience awesome and explained all our dishes to us. Very polite and 100%, A1 service. This restaurant is a must try!

Update Nov 23: No flies this time. Gave it a second chance this Diwali. Mentioned specifically not to put any food color. Excellent end result. Good tasting food and visually not jarring either. Deserves a revised and increased rating!Update Oct 23: All ratings reduced from 5. House flies everywhere (manager contacted on phone but didn't do anything). Really obnoxious amounts of red food color, making the noodles, sweet n sour chicken and chilly paneer all bright red. Have pointed this (excessive color) out earlier too but I guess they don't want to listen. Today was our 4th time there but not visiting them again. So much food color is neither appetizing to look at nor is it healthy by any standards. Plus no fun eating with one hand and holding the menu to swat flies with the other. Left completely embarrassed in front of guests we took out for lunch.Previous update: use a bit less food coloring please, pink coloured rice was an odd sight even though delicious!!
