Place closes 8pm like it’s kiddy time to sleep and the owner doesn’t seem to want to explain the menu when I called. Asked for simple breakdown of sauces and buddy said sorry go look at the menu. Furthermore he charges $18 for 3 little ribs. That’s ripp off. Also I’ve heard most of the food sucks only the ribs are somewhat good that’s why I wanted to check only the ribs but the attitude and also price for 3 little short ribs was not worth it

Char'D Grill was recommended by a local social media account that reviews restaurants (don't recall the name) - so I was tempted already.I ordered the Beef Short Rib Box, with the Sweet Seoul (Korean BBQ) Sauce, with Vegetable rice which was roughly $23 after tax.The star of this box was absolutely the beef. Not only do they provide you a HUGE portion of beef short ribs, which throws most AYCE restaurants and cuisines who serve Short Ribs out of the park, but it is grilled just enough to give you that smokiness from the grill which shines beautifully through the sauce.While I am not a huge fan of the rice that accompanied it, I am excited to try their Mogo next time I come around.I highly recommend checking them out if you're in the area! If you're not a beef eater they have chicken, shrimp and impossible meat for our non-meat eating friends!Vegetarian options: Impossible Meat

Had the family platter with chicken breast, chicken skewers, beef skewers and beef short ribs, with waffle fries, Mogo and salad on the side. For sauce we opted for Korean bbq. Portion sizes were generous and the food tasted very good. As for the interior, the tables were very scratched up, but that was just a minor issue. I have been wanting to try some small local establishments in order to 1. Support local and 2. Expand my circle of eateries.With these goals I came here today after picking up my wife from work. We had the combination platter with Sweet Seoul on the beef and Atlanta Lemon Pepper on the chicken. Sides were Waffle Fries and Vegetable Rice. Flavours were absolutely on point. We couldn’t decide which protein we liked more and the fries were amazing.Service was friendly, helpful with suggestions, and checked in with us during the meal without being obtrusive.I would definitely recommend and plan to return.

Enjoyed the family platter, which included a variety of short-ribs, beef skewers, chicken skewers, chicken breast, waffle fries and mogo (cassava fries). The short ribs were really good. Also the poutine with waffle fries appetizer is worth ordering.

Great little place with a fantastic menu. The short ribs in Korean BBQ sauce were very tasty. Kids finished their entire meal which is always a great sign. Only point I'd note is that they can add a little more sauce although that may be a personal preference. The owner gladly gave us extra sauce on the side when requested.
