We ordered the soy-garlic Korean fried chicken and we were disappointed. The chicken was not bone-in and were more like chicken tenders. The sauce used was good but it was only topped on the large amount of breading that they used while frying the chicken. In our opinion , when actually tasting the chicken and not the breading with sauce , it did not taste great and it was not juicy . The atmosphere is very unique and decor is awesome but in our opinion the food we had was not great especially for how expensive it was. Also, a forced mandatory tip of 15% for 2 people is not something we are used to.

Food is great. Everyone was accommodating and I was able to order and receive my food relatively fast on a busy Friday night.I didn’t like that the 15% gratuity was put upon me even though I was dining alone. I agreed to it at the time and they did inform me of it beforehand. I can understand it for parties of 4 or more but I felt a little ripped off at the end of the night. It cost me about $60 for a small serving of the seasoned chicken, and a bottle of soju.

I have been to this restaurant over 5 times now and the food is definitely amazing. I usually don’t leave bad reviews but I was disappointed for sure. they decided they’re going to start charging 15% on every bill for service. How is that even okay? I’ve never seen any restaurants do this. Tips shouldn’t be mandatory. Especially here, service is non existent. They also lowered the percentage of the discount when paying with cash from 10% to 7%. Why????? Also the food is completely over priced I’m not sure why. There are places downtown for just as good, and cheaper.

Food was good but way too overpriced! Plus they charge a min 15% tip but there is no service. We didn’t even get a refill of water.

Food was good but they said you have to pay 15% tip minimum and when I tried to tip myself the lady took my card and was saying the manager does now allow any tip under 15% and wouldn’t let me pay until I gave them the tip. Be aware of

Their rice cakes and corn and cheese are good. Unfortunately, everything else is not worth it. Their prices are way too high for the portion sizes, they include a mandatory tip in your bill, the fried chicken is not cooked thoroughly, and the restaurant is very crammed and has little to no acoustic control.

Avoid this restaurant. We were party of 2 and they added a 10% minimum tipping to our bill. This was not made clear to us when ordering and on their menu it only lists tipping if you’re a party of 4 or more. It’s not that we’re against tipping but it’s the fact they sneak in the charge and hand you the machine to tap your card. It’s unethical and rude. When we asked about it they said oh the server was to tell you when ordering but our server didn’t and then the owner of the restaurant yelled at the server and said she couldn’t work there anymore! I felt really bad for the server because it’s not her fault. It’s the restaurant owners fault who sneakily add tipping amounts to your bill and then cause a scene when you ask about that charge and refuse to pay it. The restaurant owners also started talking about the colour of my partner and I’s skin and how people like us work at their kitchen. How is that relevant to our bill?! The issue isn’t the tipping, the issue is for you to add that charge to my bill thinking we wouldn’t notice it.Anyways, horrible restaurant owners who are rude and will say racist things to you. Not to mention, the food is pricey compared to other Korean joints. Avoid this place solely for their unethical way of handling bills.

Terrible customer service and they demand tip for the most mediocre food. Don’t come here if you want to be harassed for tips.

Second time coming here, friendly, cozy and 100000% delicious Korean food. Staff is nice and welcoming. I cried because its authentic Korean food. ? . Affordable and good to have friends and family to enjoy and take your time, leave happy ?. I always get rice cakes with cheese and the fried chicken but we got jjangmeyeon, fried, calamari, red seasoned chicken, kimchi pancake. ?

Very good food and good customer service. I'm glad to see a Halal korean restaurant in mississauga. Lots of options. The lamb bokeum was exceptional. The bbq flavor of the korean fried chicken was very tasty. I've seen comments on the tips; it is clearly written for 4 or more, tips are 15%. They do mention to you when you put in your order. The one thing I found is that the prices are pretty high, but then again, you may only go here like once a year. Highly recommend spot if you ever wanna try halal korean food.
