Chicken is juicy. However, I have an issue with the sauce. I asked for mild sauce. I didn't realise it would be so gloopy. I should've said no to the sauce. Or at least had it on the side. :( kinda ruined it for me. Live and learn.

The food is amazing! The ONLY issue I have is that after 2pm you can't order a 1/4 chicken meal, and that when you order a 1/2 chicken meal you can't have two of the same kind of meat (double dark/double white)

They get extremely busy and I can understand why. By far my favourite Portuguese-style BBQ chicken. It had great flavour and big portions. The meat was tender and juicy and their sauce is a must! The potatoes were packed with flavourful herbs and a hint of lemon. Even though there was a long line, their service was really fast. They had lots of servers tending to you and they were all very friendly. Highly recommend if you're ever in the area!

Something has changed here and not for the better. We have been going here for years and always loved the chicken, rice and potatoes. Even bought jars of the sauce on various occasions. However, either they have changed their suppliers or buy a lesser quality chicken because now they are smaller, taste gummy/fatty and the spices used is not the same formula as before. Service is usually slow and they don't care. People who don't value good food seem to love it and keep coming back. I can think of better places.

Second time coming here as we were in the area and my partner read good things about this place. First time I came here was with my parents and I remember it being good. We got the half chicken dinner with the fries and coleslaw. The service was fairly quick. They make the fries when ordered so it's fresh. Really enjoyed the food, the meat was tender and juicy and was coated with the sauce well. The sauce itself was nice and well-balanced. The fries were crispy and had that nice potato taste to it. The coleslaw was also good, it's how my partner likes it. We also got the Portuguese donuts and the tart. They were nice and not as sweet as I thought. Would recommend this place if you're ever around the area.

You can smell the chicken once you enter. This seemed like a popular place with many customers waiting for their order. We tried the family meal and were given generous portions. The potatoes and chicken were the highlight. The ribs were a little dry, so next time I will stick with the chicken. I also noticed a dessert display with Portuguese tarts that we will have to try!

Ordered one grilled chicken and it came with two hot sauce. I also purchased the hot sauce in a large jar. I love that you can take home a large jar of hot sauce. The chicken was good, but it does not do well as a leftover. The next day, the chicken was hard and had that off taste and smell. I find that is too short a time to go bad, when I just bought it the night before and tried to eat it again for lunch. Place was busy when I got there and service is a bit slow. One line to order and two cashiers to pay but still it was really slow.

Terrible customer service... which is sad because the chicken is delicious. There's a problem every time - they either forget my order (as I continue shuffling through a very slow and long line) or overcharge me. I upgraded an item in the combo, and they charged me the full price of the item in addition to the combo, even after I tried to reason. They don't need your business and they really treat you that way. I really wanted to support them but I've left in tears twice already.

Great little neighborhood churrasqueria. Good charbroiled chicken, great bbq sauce, some great fried cod and shrimp, Parisienne potatoes, and other sides and appetizers. Staff are efficient at getting what you need quickly. Good source of a quick takeout dinner or lunch.

Always Busy and always Delicious.. Stay away from the Mixed Veg., they look good but have an underlying fishy taste... Ribs are ok but brushed with Regular Ketchup instead of a proper sauce.

This review is a long time coming. I was first pulled into Brasas by the irresistible scent of fire roasted chicken emanating from their vents a few years ago. The taste of their food lives up that aroma. The spicy chicken is flavourful and moist and keeps me returning for more.

Best chicken in the city. No discussion. Place is packed every night for a reason. Those round potatoes are too good and they have lots of other delicious sides even pastries and bread. These guys know what they're doing! My family eats here at least once a month

Still my favourite place in the area for Portuguese chicken and egg tarts. I've been frequenting here a lot recently and especially during the quarantine to order food to go. A line typically builds up really quick around lunch time so be sure to adjust your visit accordingly if you don't want to be waiting in the blazing heat outside. Since last year, I believe they raised the prices slightly for a lot of their menu items.. the half chicken dinner (my go-to) is a bit more expensive that what it usually is.. but this place is still one of my favs.
