Moved to the neighborhood and thought it would be good to try the Clarkson Pump. Well, I’m glad I did ‘cuz now I know I am missing nothing and never need to return. I can deal with the place being an unattractive dark and dingy oversized room, but I can’t forgive crappy food which is what we were served. The french onion soup was barely warm, and tasteless. A waste of $10 bucks. The greek salad was fresh and a decent size, but the dressing lacked flavour which made it disappointing and not enjoyable to eat. The club sandwich was dry and when I asked about the bread, was told it was Cobs - no wonder it was without flavour. Cobs bread sucks and the sandwich was a total miss. The beer was cold and the fish and chips decent, albeit the fries and fish were slightly warm, not hot. The server was priceless - ‘oh, I put it under the heat lamp as I waited for the salad’. Good one! We won’t be back. Mediocre is alive and well in south Mississauga! Yet to find a decent place to eat here.

I love a good clubhouse so ordered it and the fries were good. That was all that was good. Three big pieces of bread. It was dry and I forced my way through it. I’m sure there are other things on the menu that are better but c’mon if you can’t nail a simple sandwich…

Great casual spot for going out. Tasty food, good cocktails and some draft beer. Wish there were more desserts options. Service was a bit slow but it did look like a busy evening.

The Pump is super reliable for good food, relaxed atmosphere and nice service. We had lunch today, a group of 6, and it was wonderful. All of our food (mostly brunch items) were delicious and our server was really attentive and friendly. Thank you so much!
