I came to different franchise of congee queen and without fail, they’ve always delivered. Service could be better though. Sometime people don’t go in group but they will order more to try. If anyone from head office listens, please let customers sit in spacious table. They are always busy though, no matter where you go. I went countless of times.

Food is OK, consistent. Service is below average, staff couldn't understand our order. One if our item was missed, we went through 4 waiters before getting our order. Kind of disappointed with that.Today, one of our order was later than usual with the side dish soup cold.

We went on a weekend and it was packed but luckily we made a reservation.We waited for 10 mins as they were preparing our table.We ordered a lot of different dishes, but I would recommend the shrimp wonton soup. It was plump and packed with shrimp, and the soup was satisfying.They serve real authentic Chinese, and their customer service is excellent in spite of the fact that English is not their first language.I ordered the garlic pea shoots, but I think it was overpriced. Try their deep-fried pork spare ribs and calamari. I would say their price points are not that exorbitant, and servings are acceptable.If you are ever in this part of the GTA, particularly Mississauga, try them, you won't be disappointed.
Delicious. Recommend the snow pea leaf and king mushrooms. Also the congee! Be sure to reserve before hand or avoid weekends. It gets very loud and full.

Organized a lunch gathering at this Congee Queen on a weekday.The location is great for people coming from the GTA and those coming from the west.Easy parking on site.Not crowded on weekday, and the place is really big!Quite good service.Food is standard (same as the ones I usually get in the GTA)They also have private room / area. I was told the minimum charge was like $600 for a bit table (there were around 14 of us). Since the place was not packed, we just sat in the common dining area.
Disappointing!!! Awful Service!Food is okay but they cheap out on meat/seafood.Service is awful - Table was neglected. Place mats were used. Had to wait to eat even though food was already at the table because no one provided plates or cutlery. Asked 3 times for water. Afterwards the waitress demanded I pay minimum $10.00 tip in cash and would let us go making a scene that we did not provide more of a tip.Atmosphere - dirrty! The bathroom is filthy.Go to better independent Chinese restaurants.

The food and atmosphere were fine, but this was all negated by the poor service. The waitress bullied our table into giving her a bigger tip. The boldness of this waitress' attitude in demanding a larger tip was completely unbelievable. From some of the other reviews that note similar experiences, it is disgusting to think that they do this regularly and hard to believe that this practice is still going on. Truly, this is such a scam and I hope this practice ends because what they're doing is not right.

DO not eat here. The food is actually ok, but the service and professionalism is disgusting. Upon leaving the restaurant the servers had the audacity to ask for more of a tip after asking for cash payment. The servers are so lazy barely check on you and dont even make sure you have utensils or plates unless you try waving them down for 10 min.I do not leave bad reviews unless it is deserved and this place definitely deserves one.
