We ordered korean fried chicken from Haru Chicken as delivery and have not dined in. We got the regular size soy garlic chicken which came with fries. The chicken was well fried and the meat tasted was fresh & juicy. The batter felt somewhere between a mix of regular korean fried chicken and a KFC-type batter, meaning it was lighter, crispier, and not too heavy on the breading. The marinade was solid but nothing that mind blowing - I liked how it wasn't too salty/overpowering and think it'd be a good fit for people who enjoy more subtle, fragrant flavours. It's a good sauce, just not my personal favourite. The flavour options for fried chicken were limited and unsurprising, so there isn't much appeal for me to come back - just original, soy garlic, and creamy garlic flavours. The chicken was good, but didn't compare to korean fried chicken I've had elsewhere. Portion size is on par for this type of cuisine and price is mid-tier, so it's a decent option, but I'd rather pay a little more and get something with a more unique flavour to it. The regular size we ordered would be a meal for 1 but just a snack for 2 ppl.

Truly a hidden gem for delicious fried chicken! Haru Chicken is located inside PAT supermarket with their own separate small area. They come with a variety of Korean fried chicken options and skewers. I decided to get their popular chicken skewer set. It took a bit long however, it's totally worth the wait as the chicken is super crispy and juicy. The cheese skewer and the seasoned sauce skewer was my favourite out of the four. It was a great set to try a bit of everything. The soy garlic popcorn chicken came in a small size which is more perfect as an appetizer. It was light and the sauce was perfect. This also came with few fried rice cakes. Overall, it's worth the visit! I would highly recommend if you are in the Mississauga area and wanting to grocery shop inside the Korean supermarket.

Located inside of PAT supermarket.I got the cheese chicken skewer and it was super cheesy and saucy! The chicken was juicy as well. I would definitely try the other flavours when I get the chance!

Staff were really friendly but the quality of the fried chicken was simply not there when compared to other fried chicken places nearby. The crispy fried chicken was undercooked (some pieces). Other pieces of chicken felt old, it didn't seem fresh. For those thinking of trying Haru Chicken. I would recommend looking elsewhere.

I've tried the chicken skewers a few times and have not been disappointed!! They are pretty filling, I didn't need a side dish to make it feel like a meal. The green onion is so fresh and delicious, I'm not usually a fan of tons of onions but Haru chicken does it right. I feel like the skewers are a little pricey, I wouldn't come here for a lunch break, but as a treat every now and again.

This small kitchen is located inside Pat Supermarket in the back next to a Korean hot dog kitchen. I got here at 4:45pm on a weekday and there was no one at the counter. There were 2 people working in the back. I had to wait a couple of minutes for one of them to come out. Ordered a seasoned sauce fried chicken skewer and 1 with cheese topping. It was ready in about 10 minutes. Meanwhile you can browse or shop for Korean groceries. The seasoned sauce was more of a sweet chili sauce. The mozzarella cheese had what I think was Japanese mayo on it and it was my favorite. The cheese was melted with a torch and I just love that taste. The chicken was tender and these 2 pieces was very filling for me. Be careful not to eat these skewers holding them straight down as any toppings or condiments will drip onto your shoes and jeans. Not to say it happened to me....*covers eyes* Both were a yummy snack.
