great diner experience. waitress was lovely, food is good. the avocado is a spread instead of fresh, but it's actually very tasty unlike many premade spreads. we ordered our eggs medium but they came back over easy. coffee strong and tasty.

Ordered the BLT, a friend had the club, another the light breakfast and another had the full breakfast. The food is always consistently good here and the service is even better. It feels like the diners of my childhood when going out for breakfast with the family was a special treat. Every visit takes me back to simple times with good food, great company and exceptional service.

Our go to spot for breakfast and brunch!We've been here more times than I can count. The servers are all lovely, the food tastes home cooked and is consistent plus our toddler loves the food here as well.Sad news they will be moving out of this location in early 2024 (a Winners is moving in?) but the latest update is they've found a new spot in Burlington.In the meantime we will be here a few times a month and I'm sure will be making the trek out to visit their new spot S well.

This place is close by to a park I went to. In a plaza where Canadian Tire is still under construction I find this nice place. It's roomy and the staff is quite friendly when I came in. They're very attentive no cellphones in their hands. Since I am carnivore now I chose the steak Benedict without the muffin and the fries. It comes with threepo eggs and Hollandaise sauce. L. The mix is good but pricey due to inflation. Wolfed it down in under 5 minutes.The echo of the restaurant is a bit annoying but I can easily tolerate it just listening to Salty Cracker talk about this new movie Sound of Freedom. Anyway since it wasn't enough I asked for steak and cheese omelette which is slightly cheaper to try out. And it was. It's large as it has five eggs. It's definitely more with the price. I don't know if I will be back here just because it's out of my way but if I am in the area will definitely come back.

Are you looking for some delicious breakfast/brunch/lunch food?Are you interested in talking to some of the sweetest, and funniest staff of all time?Are you looking for a cute little spot to chow down? LOOK. NO. FURTHER.I’ve been going here for years now, I’d like to think my partner and I are pretty much regulars here, and it’s because the food is so good, every time, and the service is just phenomenal. I always get a BLT with extra bacon, and the home fries… holy smokes, I mean, I could make the same thin at home but I swear they do something to make their food borderline addictive!!! I CANT GET ENOUGH!!! Pretty hard to mess up a BLT, so I mean, there’s that; but the home fries are always nice and crispy and seasoned perfectly. My partner is big into omelettes, and he’s had many of the standard ones on the menu but also enjoys “making his own”, to which our server usually jokes with him and asks “okay, did you bring your own pan?” Like LOL, good one!!! The people here, and the owner, make you feel right at home. I love that about this place. Going in to grab some grub is always a treat and a wonderful experience, I cannot say enough great things about this spot. I’ve tried PLENTY of other breakfast joints (Starlight Grill (not good), Cora’s (way too expensive and over the top), Sunset Grill (poor, sad, borderline depressing service), etc, and NONE compare to Daylight Grill. I’ve taken anyone and every one I know here, my niece and nephew, my boss, my family, friends, and every time they hit it out of the park. Keep up the STELLAR work!!!!

The food and service were excellent even though they were closing shortly after we arrived. Staff were friendly and fast - food was tasty and very good portions.It's a bit of a busy place so not ideal if you're looking for a quiet leisurely meal.Otherwise though, very good!
what a wonderful little find, I was serviced immediately upon entry. As a single eater my service is usually very fast - this breakfast was fast, incredibly cooked and delicious!I got the breakfast special before 10am and with 4 pieces of bacon and what seemed like 3 HUGE eggs with toast and potatoes for $9? I had to tip good it was just too good to be such a deal
