Having heard much acclaim for Dera Biryani, my anticipation was high when I finally sampled their Chicken and Veal Biryani, priced at $17 and $20 respectively.Undoubtedly, the taste was unparalleled, with each mouthful bursting with authentic flavors that truly exemplified the art of biryani-making. However, despite the gastronomic delight, the quantity fell short of justifying the hefty price tag. With only a single serving provided, containing a modest three and a half pieces of chicken and four to five veal pieces, the disparity between price and portion size was glaring. For a take-out establishment, such pricing seems disproportionately steep. In summary, while Dera Biryani excels in taste, their pricing strategy may require reconsideration to better align with the modest portion sizes offered, particularly for patrons seeking value for money.
