This place puts subway to shame! Generous portions, fresh ingredients and actually tastes gourmet. The staff were friendly and put care and passion into the sandwiches which is something lacking in every other sub chain. Even the decor is unique and inviting. I highly recommend this sandwich shop.

I love fire house subs and when I pick up my brothers family from Calgary we usually stop here. This time it was late, I was busy minded with work and we were hosting a funeral in a few days. Not thinking and getting texts of my brothers sub order, I accidentally got double charged.I realized later and called to check about a refund, they called back and followed up and attempted a refund that didn’t go through, we arranged I can stop in to pick it up. I got there like 10 mins to close and got my refund and they also tossed in a complementary sub to my surprise! I wasn’t expecting that, but what great people at this location and business. They’ve got my business for life!If you felt good reading this review and end up going there, tell em Big Andrew sent ya!

i absolutely Love firehouse subs. i tell all my friends and employees about it! my local shop makes you feel like you are getting a $22+ dollar per sub experience! they are always fast, fresh, friendly and fun! i have even turned Subway loyalists onto Firehouse loyalists. i have made everyone I meet try it because ive never ate something so delicious that left me feeling so good after ! this location however, was not that. i had been talking up fire house to some of my colleagues that i meet with by the airport road convention centre for a while and finally had the opportunity to be the one to choose where we go for dinner and much to my delight there was a fire house subs right by the convention center. with a beautiful park close by i decided to order pickup through uber eats so we could order before we left to srick within a short lunch break and i know delicious takes time within a minute of placing my order ibgor a notification that they were preparing my order. i was so pleased as i knew this meant it would be done by the time i arrived. when i arrived there was maybe 2 other cars in thr whole plaza. I patiently waited for a notification from uber that my order was done . after 20 mins, i still had no confirmation. I walked in to an empty restaurant with 3 employees hanging out laughing and speaking loudly in their language . once they finally came over to me i explained i had been waiting but no notification came through so i wanted to see what the status of my order was . to my surprise they said they hadn't started and it wouldn't be started until the time limit was reached. i asked for explanation because the app told me they were preparing it and I had been waiting. They said that no they need to wait until the time limit had come and they would maybe start 5 minutes before. I continue to ask why this was and if they could please just go ahead and get my order ready. They finally said yes they could and after waiting for my order to be complete I then asked if I could have some water. They said yes and quoted me a price that was nearly $4 per bottle of water. I said no thanks and asked if they had a cup that I could just fill some water with. they reluctantly gave me one and it was an extremely small cup. I was so disappointed with the service and never received an apology. I also will note that the bathrooms were absolutely disgusting and I have taken photos as well. I took the subs, went to the park and with a very frustrated group of employees waiting. we quickly ate as fast as we could and had to go back to work. some of the subs were soggy for some reason but I will say that I am very disappointed in the service and in the products and I was made to look very stupid and wasted a lot of money on this experience. Is somebody who works in the service industry I think it's important that you are aware of the situation. I kindly ask that you would refund me for this meal and make this situation right. This tardiness lost me valuable time and money. was very disappointing. thank you.

I use to like this place and used them for catering a few times. But I will not be back after the service I received today.I took a co-worker out to lunch that is allergic to gluten. We made this clear at the time of order and they ensured us that they have a gluten free option.We paid and waited in line for 15-20 mins. The whole time there was a ton of yelling and chaos coming from the staff.You could barely understand what they were saying?Then finally they call my name and say sorry we gave away our gluten order?This just burnt the most of our lunch break and they made us a salad and called it even for the sandwich?It was a take it or leave it situation.I know lunch rush is a busy time, and things happen out of your control. But the way they handled it was unprofessional.I would think twice before stopping by for lunch.
