1 star rating is too high after the Good Friday fiasco! Waiting 2.5 hrs, in the back of the restaurant parking lot for a pre-order is unacceptable! The fish is good (based on past eating experiences) but this kind of service doesn’t make it worth it. Stop taking walkin orders if you can’t fulfill your pre-orders! Shame on you for clearly making yesterday a cash grab!

This place is a joke. They don't realize people plan get togethers around good Friday. To make pre order people wait more than an hour and a half for their order is unacceptable.You take so many orders., more than you can handle just to cash in on good Friday sales. You take pre orders and make customers wait so long as they have nothing else to do but wait since they've already paid.Boycotting this place

Food is not as good as this long wait..their good Friday order system is horrible. Lines of cars waiting in the back 15+ cars. You pre order a pickup time and still wait the same amount of time as a walk in order maybe even longer.Just ridiculous.

The fish and chips are great so on slow days I would absolutely recommend. Good Friday is another story. No point to order ahead as then you're still waiting an hour + for your food. Can't plan dinner under those circumstances. Walk-ins may be better but I won't be trying this next year.

Goof Friday, we decided to try Fisherman’s Plaice. Ok it was busy and I mean busy. Only doing take away, 30 minute wait once ordered, bring out to your car.We waited and OMG worth the wait. Haddock and chips were spot on. We both ordered two pieces but could only eat one. It was delicious, fries were cooked to perfection.Highly recommend Fisherman’s Plaice for your take away fish! And chips.

10/10! SO Happy to have finally found our new go-to Fish and Chips spot! We got 2 Haddock specials, fish was a great portion, crisp light batter , fries were great and fresh cut in house, coleslaw was good and unlike alot of other places the Tartar sauce was homemade ??. Price was fair and service for pick up was prompt. No complaints !

What a great place. We had the pleasure to talk with the owners and cooks. The food was excellent, homemade tarta sauce, are you kidding me, fantastic. I will be visiting this place for the next 7 weeks on Fridays.
This is real fish and chips and the best around. I grew up with my British grandfather taking me to his favorite spots and this place hits the spot every time. The staff are always lovely, the flavors and techniques are authentic and the inside vibe is just like the good ol' days. I wouldn't change a thing about it. Thanks for being awesome and filling my craving for some good authentic fish n chips!

This was once a place in my hometown neighborhood in Etobicoke before moving locations to Mississauga. I had been searching for this place for ages when they moved. It wasn't until a friend of my husband's recommended this place, and one of the owners recognized my parents when we went to visit a few years ago. It was a special experience I hold close to my heart, because no other fish and chips could ever compare. The quality of the food is fantastic, and the taste feels like homemade food. The restaurant is always clean, warm, tidy, and welcoming for those young and old to visit. I hope this place will continue to run, as it is the only fish and chips place in Ontario I'll always recommend ❤️

Very good fish & chips, the fries actually taste like potatoes, as in scratch made, & we like the clam chowder too. Some British style options for people who aren't into seafood like steak pies, haggis or black pudding to name a few, mushy peas for a side. Very friendly service, dine in or take out, generous portions, reasonable prices, there's a lot to love about this place.
