Too much $ for what you get. $12.00 for Chicken on a Pita and you get cut up pieces. Not

I just ordered a chicken wrap for lunch from this place and it was amazing. Also, while I was waiting for my wrap to be prepared, the gentleman gave me a complementary butternut squash soup that they make in house and it was amazing! It was my first time here, and I really appreciated the great customer service and the quality of the food. Thank you so much I will be back for sure!!

George before you read this be sure to take your Xanax!I grew up in Greektown and have been to Greece several times...so I can say with a lot of confidence that your food sucks..I don't know how you ever got any awards or anything over a 2 star review.your roasted potatoes look like something that came from a donkey's behind.Disgusting food..cheap portions...which in this case is a blessing.load up on TP if you order from here.gross ?

I love this Greek place, soooo good! I don't even like Greek salad and I would KILL for this salad, always so fresh every single time, so many other places have soggy salads, theirs is beautifully crunchy every single time. The only salad I have ever craved in my life. Other food is amazing as well, their wraps are super messy but worth it, it's hard to keep them together while eating but then when you're done the wrap you just have all the fallen out bits as like an extra little treat, all drenched in sauce so be prepared to get your hands and face messy. Plenty of other dishes that can be eaten without a mess but their wraps are definitely worth the mess. My only complaint is that whenever I crave them they aren't open, but that's my problem :)

The potatoes are extremely salty to the point I could not even eat one piece. The onions and peppers in between the skewers were very salty as well. The salad and 3g sauce was good. I would not order here again unless they do something about the salty potatoes.

Was at work and had a craving for some Gyros. Since I’m not in the office all the time and not very familiar with what’s available in the area I took to Google to find a nearby Greek restaurant. Lo and behold the first one that pops up is George’s Greek Grill with 4.5 rating and hundreds of reviews. It’s gotta be good right? A few bad reviews, maybe they were just too picky. It’s settled I’ll give this place a try.Upon arrival the place is very quaint and small, but clean and the air is filled with the scent of Greek food. The young woman behind the counter was very friendly and polite as she took my order. I was even offered a sample of their butternut squash soup whilst I waited. The soup wasn’t bad, but the flavouring was almost more of a butternut curry taste.Once my order was ready which was only about 10 minutes or less I might add, I was handed my order and off I was back to the office with excitement of what I was about to enjoy.Upon returning to the office ready to devour what I assume is going to be the best Gyro ever! It has to be right? 4.5 stars says so. I unwrap and feast my eyes on a mountain of shredded lettuce. So much so that you can’t even tell there’s anything else in the pita. Not a big deal let’s just dive in and have a taste, looks aren’t everything. The moment I’ve been waiting for has come. I prepare myself and take a bite and naturally I get a mouthful of lettuce and tzatziki, tomatoes, onions the usual. Everything but the meat. Another bite and this time I got some of the gyro but to my displeasure it is leathery and dry and not very flavourful at all. And before you say maybe it wasn’t hot or something like that, my office is only 6 minutes away.I open the pita to investigate further and find the gyro under all the other accoutrement, but it looks over cooked, dark and as if it was cut off of some sort of compressed meat brick. Very odd looking to be honest. I live in Greektown on Pape and Danforth and have eaten my fair share of Gyros, but nothing like this. I maybe had about a quarter of the Gyro and didn’t really feel like finishing the rest, my appetite was lost sadly.I’m sorry George’s Greek Grill. I don’t know if this was an off day for you, but you did not live up to those reviews, ratings and accolades. Thank you for the soup sample though.Cheers!

Really enjoyed the chicken deluxe pita. Tzatziki and veggies were fresh and tasty. Complimentary butternut squash soup. Previously, we ordered the chicken souvlaki dinner (that too was really good). Will definitely be coming by to order from here for my Greek food fix.
