The place has one of the best South Indian food in GTA. I have tried a lot of places but very few places come close to Guru Lakshmi. I would highly recommend ghee paper dosa and spice mysore paper dosa.
We had tried their Rawa onion dosa with masala on side, garlic masala dosa and pizza dosa with the lemonade, salted lassi and masala soda. Everything was awesome. But I think they can improve lemonade as it was very sweet not natural at all. And the salted lassi I feel is costly. Garlic masala dosa was okayish.Vegetarian options: All
Well, I am from South India, and I know how to cook South Indian food. However, I wanted to try some idli vada and sambar and hence visited this place because of many recommendations from friends and my husband too. But let me tell you this, PLEASE DON'T SPOIL YOUR STOMACH BECAUSE OF THIS PLACE!!!Long story short, I tried idli vada sambar, butter masala dosa, mango lassi, and badam halwa. By the time I finished the dosa, I could feel my stomach getting uneasy and bloated. And by the time I walked out, my stomach felt like I had ten babies inside me. The whole night, my husband and I suffered terribly because of bloating and gastric issues, which we never have. Its been almost more than 12 hours and my stomach just doesnt feel alright. It was because the food had baking soda added to it, and that's the biggest mistake any restaurant can make. If you ever feel the same, reply to this thread or give me a thumbs up.Vegetarian options: Everything us vegetarian and south India style

Best dosa I’ve ever had! Even the samosas were full of flavor and different than I’ve ever had!
I feel it's an over-hyped restaurant. You can get better dosa and idle at any restaurant like mughal spice , nawab's or charminar and it's will not cost much also they give best groundnut chatni too

Expensive uttanpam with cheap portion...it was so small, when I told manager he says we serves in this size... I have been eating dosa over 15 years and I never had this experience. Unbelievably looting Customer... there is no point of showing 5 star rating on wall when you are so cheap with your service or food...
