Really good bagels and quick service. Unfortunately no bathroom in the cafe. Free Wi-Fi

This place has changed owner and went through a major renovation. So I thought I will stop by to get a breakfast combo. There is avocado and egg on a toast for $5.49 so I thought I will try. But be careful, this combo doesn't come with a coffee or tea. You need to pay extra $1.87 for a small coffee. I was in total disappointment when I received my toast. It is just an semi side up egg on top of a spread of avocado on a piece of white toast. Seriously?! You are paying $6 and not even getting a half of a freshly sliced avocado? This is a total scam. I will never visit this place again! The pricing is just ridiculous!

Stay away. New ownership. Serve yourself coffee! Hygiene is questionable at best. BLT sandwich was awful. Sad bread, small amounts of filling for $6.70. New owners need to change things up. It is a prime location but only if service and food is good

This place is in such a convenient location, has the most friendly service and the food and coffee is so delicious! I really need to get my hands on the coffee beans they use for the freshly brewed coffee - it's such a rich and balanced flavour. I would also highly recommend the red velvet cake!! Very moist and decadent which is exactly what I need after a hectic morning at school. Java Joe's is all around a nice place to get some work done, have some coffee and fill my stomach with a little cake. I would highly recommend!!

Such a cute hangout spot!! Great place to pick up a morning coffee, or to have lunch and get some work done. Friendly atmosphere, service has been wonderful recently. Will be going back routinely. Highly recommend!

- Iced Coffee and Regular Coffee - I had the regular coffee and it had a really nice flavour. I also saw many other flavour options like hazelnut. The prices were very affordable and comparable in price to Tim Hortons and McDonald's, even though Java Joe's coffee seems to be very good quality.. - I had the Berries Festival smoothie too and it was really refreshing, especially after walking in the summer heat. While some smoothies were being made, I noticed they were made with real fruit and not fruit purees, which is a big plus. - Also, the bread they use for their paninis is really nice with the perfect amount of soft texture within and crisp on the outside. The panini size was quite a large portion and bursting with meat and veggies. Overall, it's a really nice spot to do some work or chill out as there's comfy seating, Wifi, and a power outlet by the armchairs.

Not only is the food not good it seems to get progressively worse and more expensive. The service is terrible and it's like they seek out additional ways to charge extra fees. I have only ever gone because I work in the building and need a quick bite. It's not worth it.

This used to be an excellent location to work at with coffee in hand. Unfortunately, this cafe falls short as they no longer offer WiFi for their customers as they claim it interferes with their POS system. This is an easy fix and it is unprofessional to just remove the service (way to go problem solving skills!) They also offer no outlets throughout the cafe. I see no reason to return.
