I absolutely love the food here! The flavors are amazing & so well prepared. I can't wait until I can dine in again as the ambiance is perfect for girls' or date night.

This spot never disappoints. They serve great food for reasonable pricing, there are no long waits even when the place is busy.

The food is so amazing and service was excellent. The interior is quite trendy with a good vibe. With warm or cold sale please stick with servers suggestions for the first time. The credo ( pork belly) skewers are fantastics.. highly recommend

Amazing food! Went for buck a shuck and stayed for a bunch of great Asian inspired dishes. Wonderful decor throughout the restaurant. KAGE is a hidden gem in Mississauga. It feels like a downtown Toronto restaurant. A little pricey but will definitely be back.

Amazing cocktail selection, very different from most places. The food was meticulously prepared, just the right amount of everything. Presentation was good too. The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. Had an amazing visit. Only wish they had desserts too.

Went here twice because I loved it so much culinary food well executed that brings something new to the city but for personal reasons no longer supporting. I have to say the staff management wise came off geniune but are in fact exact opposite my mom and met with them to try her cheesecake to welcome them to the area and as a business proposition to feature on their menu as I found their desserts lacked. One female one male it was a whole cake they got for free as we chatted they told us they would consider share with their team and get back in touch but weeks went by never heard back via email. I followed up still no reply understand if you came to the conclusion no but at least have the courtesy to extend a thank you like you once came from humble beginnings but they have an ego about themselves now.

i cannot believe this amazing fusion tapas joint has been around for almost 2 years!? what have i been missing out on?! ill tell you just what! a solid 5/5 for practically evvverything imo. 1. their karragae fried chicken is a mussst try!! the beautiful love child of popeyes and colonel sanders!! beyond perfect!! seasoned so well & its so dang crispy!! 2. tataki de carni (beef) was spectacular! the cabbage slaw, little fried garlic slivers & ponzu came together so well! my tastebuds were sad the plate was empty in two minutes. i need more please! 3. yuca frites?! yes please!! fries before guys, always! the best part wasnt the crispy golden cassavas, but the goddamn oregano mayo! packs a good punch to your mouth! please try this one too! we needed extra sauce because, i love sauce!! 4. salmon tartare - i dont eat salmon but i tried a little bite. its a bit salty but goes so well w.the crostini! love the slight notes of wasabi oil. it wasnt so overpowering as i thought wasabi was going to be. well done on this one too kage chefs! 5. ebi mayo (fried shrimps) the only dish id give 4/5 to because the mayo sauce was a bit too much and too rich. still tasty but id definitely get it w.less sauce of just on the side to dip. id love to squeeze a fat lemon wedge or toss some fried onions or garlic on them to add more flavors and helps cut the heavy mayo. 6. gyu katsu (beef sliders) loved that the beef patty was fried. gave it a really nice crunch and its still so juicy inside! mmm! one of the best sliders ive had. i liked that it was drenched in sauce or utterly dry like some places ive had before. a simple slice of tomato, bit of cabbage and its their 2 house sauces that ties everything together. you got tour tangy tonkatsu sauce (typically ketchup & worcestershire sauce) and a bit of a yuzu (lemon) mayo. everything was perfect! 7. remolacha (beet salad) a simple mix of yellow & red beets. a bit arugula tossed w. soy balsamic dressing and cauli puree. though i didnt see pumpkin seeds, there are sesame seeds in it. tasty af!! i loved it!! 8. cordera (braised lamb shank) so tender and practically fell off the bone!! though the lamb was a bit gamey, the pumpkinn puree and huacatae crema (peruvian mint) gave it such an amazing taste! the crispy shallots added nice texture and flavour too! **truffle chaufa (assorted mushrooms & truffle fried rice)** you were too popular and sold out early on that night.broke my heart but im coming back for you!! and the karragae!! thank you for a delicious time kage team!! shoutouts to cindy & miguel for their superp service and hospitality!! -girl at the bar that kept moving your sugar tub **sorry!!** xoxo

Its difficult to find good/unique restaurants in Mississauga. This is a winner. Service was excellent. The food was good- had the salmon tartar, cole slaw and pork belly. Tapas style .All were flavourful. Will be back

Went there for dinner with some friends over the holidays. The food was okay. There weren't many options for me as I don't eat pork and seafood. I felt like there weren't many vegetarian options either. My food was a little too greasy. I had mushroom risotto which tasted good, but the grease was not good, too much. Price wise I feel like it's over priced for the value that you're getting. But the ambiance and music was good. My friends liked it. They eat whatever so I guess the menu was more suitable for them .

I went here recently on a Thursday evening and sat right by the bar top. The staff were amazing, super attentive and made great recommendations. The Japanese-Peruvian fusion is perfectly married in all the dishes. Thursday's are buck a shuck oysters so ordered two dozen to start - all super fresh and came with a mignonette and ketchup. Ordered the Ceviche Nikkei and Ebi Mayo based on earlier reviews. The shrimp were delicious! Perfectly coated and crispy (highly recommended). The Ceviche was tasty, great portion and really yummy bites of sweet potato. The Tataki de Carne was my favourite dish of the night thought. Really beautifully plated and the garlic chips added great texture. Finished with the Kage Slaw - huge portion and again beautifully plated. Super fresh and light! Hidden gem by 5 & 10 definitely worthwhile checking out. Will definitely come back to try the octopus and duck confit rice!

I had dinner at Kage last night and had a great experience. It's not only the food, but the fantastic customer service that left me thinking I'd likely be making a trip back. My husband and I shared the yuca fritas, salmon tartare, duck confit rice and ebi mayo (fried shrimp). The favourites were definitely the ebi mayo and duck rice. Both were fantastic. The yuca fritas were okay, but nothing really stood out about them. The salmon tartare was bland and tasteless. It definitely needed more citrus, salt -- just something that gave it more flavour. What I appreciated was that when the server asked my opinion about the tartare and I was honest, she was apologetic and asked what I thought it lacked. She explained that it was a new item on the menu and she'd relay the message to the chefs. They ended up taking the tartare off the bill, which was not expected nor required by any means, but greatly appreciated. They took my constructive criticism well and think it shows that this establishment is listening to their customers and trying to ensure they present the best food they can. I definitely recommend checking it out!
