I will never ever return to this restaurant.My friends and I were told by staff members that the taco kit feeds an entire family when in fact it only feeds one or two plus it's an appetizer not a full meal.To charge $60 for a small appetizer that feeds only one or two is a rip off.

Its been a while coming back to this place. Tried a couple new plates. The Mexican sweet corn is so good. We also ordered bunito and spicy shrimp bowl. They are good size and super tasty. We are supper happy about the dishes. Just a reminder, the spicy shrimp is really spicy. I didn't feel much when I first had it but feel like my stomach is on fire after. And I normally handle quite high level of spicy. ?A great place for a quick bite or a date. Taste of Mexico ??

Ok so the mushroom tostada was delicious, but In cod we trust was just gross. You don't even taste the fish, just beets. My husband and brother struggled to find the meat on the Carne asada, and Baja shrimp. When your paying close to $9 for a Taco you shouldn't have to be searching for the meat. We went to another restaurant after. And we should have known the portions were small when the waitress said she would leave the menu in case we wanted more.

Food was not good as it was cold and stale specially rice in our bowl . Seemed like chef was tired around last hour to put in any effort . Server was great . We also had to return over cooked chicken . It was almost burnt . Management sud look into it as restaurant have more potential.

We visited the La Carnita at Food District in Square One for the first time yesterday. We had the Nachos, and the Quesadilla Special for Thursdays. We also had the pork belly tacos. Everything was absolutely incredible. I just wished the water glasses were bigger, or that a jug of water could be left at the table to refill as necessary during busy times. The service was great, the atmosphere was very cozy and elegant at the same time. Can't wait to be back.

This is my second time eating here. The food is good, but not great. The al pastor taco is the best, but the cod taco sauce is so over powering it ruins the taco. We also got their corn, salsa and guac tray as well as tried the taquitos, king shrimp and the ribs and they were all good too! The service though, is very inattentive. We couldn’t get the attention of a server even if we wanted to, water glasses stayed empty until we were leaving, table stacked with plates and dishes… so with better service, this could be a fun enjoyable solid Mexican spot.

My experience with this restaurant was terrible. The food was very poorly prepared and just looked like slop after minutes where nachos had little to no nachos chips. Thursday's special fajitas dish is definitely not special. First, there's only one option, beef and shrimp, and dont come expecting sizzling hot style fajitas, a little pan with slop, and tiny cold tortillas that look worst than the ones bought in the grocery store.. Moreover, it is a Mexican restaurant that only has fajitas on the menu one day a week. After all that, at least mixed drinks should be a no-brainer, not at LA Carnita. Those are also flops. It's just a terrible restaurant and dining experience with the one server when I was there.

A friend and I went here for food on a Saturday evening. We were very disappointed with the service and food. The lady that served us had a horrible attitude and seemed annoyed when we asked her questions about the menu. Also, the food is not good and overpriced. We spent 120 altogether for nachos, 3 tacos each, a shareable appetizer, and drinks. Worst tacos and nachos I have ever had at a Mexican restaurant. Will not be returning again

Ordered the Carne Assada bowl on the 20th of January and had the worst food poisoning, meat tasted weird but thought it was just me ... few hours after it got really bad , still feeling it 2 days after ! Such bad experience. I'll never order from here again.
