This place definitely deserves more stars than its current rating.Pros (things that I like about this place)•Super fair price for big portion: We ordered 5 dishes for a group of 5, including a jeongol dish (hotpot). Come to <32$/person after tip, tax and a lot of leftovers to pack home.•As the restaurant’s name, each of the mandoo (Korean dumpling) here is very filling and chewy. Pretty good!•Gopchang jeongol (Beef small intestine hotpot) comes with two rice bowls. Given the quantity of gopchang they provided, it will undoubtedly satisfy more than two individuals. Soup was mild spicy and somewhat similar to Gamjatang to my liking.•Jokbal is meaty and nicely complimented by their saewoojeot jang, garlic slice and green pepper! A lot of meat I repeat.Cons (things I don’t like/not impressed with)•Jjajangmyeon wasn’t the best ever, I’m not a fan. Lack of flavors even after combining with Danmuji (yellow pickle daikon)•Kalguksu is fresh, but the broth does need more seasoning. Maybe ask for soy sauce on the side.•Kimchi jeon is average, nothing super special.Service was a bit slow due to short staff, but our servers (2) were friendly! I appreciate the fact that they would you extra banchan and everything else without having to repeat.A solid Korean restaurant in Mississauga!

My go to place for the stone pot bibimbap! I’ve been to so many Korean restaurants and tried so many bibimbap but nothing comes close to theirs especially the bibimbap sauce! When I was pregnant with my 3rd and 4th baby their bibimbap was mostly what I craved for. I brought my baby here and befriended the owner and servers and they dubbed my baby to be the bibimbap baby. ?My husband and I has also tried their seafood pancake, fried mandu, galbi, gamjatang and other yummy dishes and they never disappoint.

We didn’t even get a chance to eat here today. This restaurant used to be a really good place with good food. I used to go all the time with my family. Now? I would not ever step foot in there again. I will also be telling everyone I know around me in the Korean community about my poor experiences here so far.My husband and I went to this restaurant about 3 times and they closed with no notice on the door or anything updated online to notify customers. No idea why they closed a few times on days they were showing open with no holiday. Then today, I called an hour before I showed up to confirm their closing time. The girl I spoke to on the phone said they were closing at 9:00pm. We show up around 7:50pm and some tall guy with glasses in the kitchen just nonchalantly yells from the kitchen to us at the door that they’re closing now. I told him we spoke with someone 30 minutes ago who said that the restaurant was closing at 9:00pm and he kind of shrugged it off with a very fake “sorry” (more like a sorry not sorry). He said they didn’t have enough business so they were closing early.Very lame excuse for a business. Very rude man in the kitchen. Looks like he was closing up on his own so he may very much even be the owner. Regardless of that, he needs to learn how to walk to the customers, politely and correctly apologize like he means it, and maybe then he wouldn’t see such a nasty review. No surprise I guess that there are no customers. Clearly they are going downhill. Poor business practices and poor customer service.

Potato Pork bone hotpot without potato, I asked twice for the reason and the kitchen finally replied:’they don’t have potatoes in stock now. ‘ And that’s it, not even an explanation or apology they just feel that they were all right. I’m a long time regulars here since 10 years ago, without saying anything about the food portions or the rice wine flavors changed a lot, just only for this attitude, I won’t come back again. BTW there is no discount at all but we still gave 18% tip only for the Chinese server, besides that server, no one worth me to give any tip. One star for my old time memories and one star for the server.

They used to be really good years ago until the owner changed. The food is tasteless, portion of side dishes were questionably small for three people (3-4 pieces of kimchi and a spoonfull of steamed vegetable for ex.).We ordered korean style hot pot, which was extremely greasy and surprisingly bland in taste. The korean sausage side (soondae) was very small in portion and tasted dry, which would mean that they were precooked a long time ago.

Cozy, korean comfort food! We ordered the Korean army stew for 3 and it was so filling and delicious! The service was really friendly as well.

Had a great meal here with family. 9 in our party and the food and service was great. I've never experienced so much care and personalized attention from an ethnic restaurant so that was a bonus. Highly recommend.

Went there instead of Kobi to give it a shotGot the table top pork belly for 2And it was delish!!This is the 2nd time we went there and got the same thing except for the soup1st time got the soybean soup and 2nd time got the kimchee soupPersonally I like both but slightly favor the kimchi soupThis is the only kbbq that serves sliced jalapeños which is a good extra heat for meThe only reason it's not a 5 star is the side dishes lack.Would like to get pickled cucumbers, sweet potatoes and white radishGood value and good atmosphere as its a father son run businessIf I can add a 0.5 star it would be that they play netflix korean shows with English subtitlesP.S. U know the place is legit when you get Koreans that go there and non Koreans. It's like half half

Service was great. They were rlly on the ball with the service. Came with my family of 4 and split the family black bean noodles and the dumpling & noodle hot pot for 3. Came to about $65 since its 10% off when using cash.

Probably one of the best Korean restaurant in Mississauga! We've been getting take out exclusively and every time we bring it home, it is still piping hot and so fresh. Their dumplings are so delicious, pork belly tofu stir fry is our go-to and their sweet and sour tangsuyook is so tasty! Definitely one of our favourite krn places :)

I came here on a Monday evening with a couple of my friends for dinner. It was our first time trying out this Korean restaurant here in Mississauga. This place was relatively empty when we came so we were seated fairly quickly. We had ordered the following:Soft tofu (SoonDuBu JjiGae)My friend ordered this soft tofu stewed in hot spicy broth. She said that this was good and what you would typically expect from a Korean cuisine.Pork Bone Soup (Gam Ja Tang)My friend ordered this pork bone soup with potatoes and vegetables. He said that the pork was tender and amazing. There was a lot of spice added to the soup so it added a kick to every bite ?.Spicy Bulgogi Dolsit (Bibimbap)This bibimbap came with assorted vegetables with beef and egg on rice in a hot stone bowl. I ordered this and was surprised that it was cheaper than most Korean restaurants. The portion size was big enough to fill your appetite and that also applied to the other dishes mentioned above. I would give this a worth it ?.Side DishesIt comes with side dishes (banchan) that include bean sprouts, kimchi, seaweed salad and braised potatoes. Despite the limited options, these 4 side dishes can be refillable so feel free to eat as much as your heart's content.Overall, the staff and service were relatively friendly and okay. I had only seen one staff working at that time. They have a bunch of menu items from appetizers to hot pot. Some of these portions can be quite big so feel free to share with others ?.
