Absolutely perfect date night. Staff was enthusiastic and fun. Food was great. The calamari was soft crumbly breaded, wine was rich, Tarimasu was perfect, meats and cheese made our night. Everything tasted great.

I can't say enough about this delicious restaurant. The food was amazing, they even catered to my allergies. Plenty of well paired wine options. Perfect for a romantic evening, or for a girls night out. Also has a small patio area. Can't wait to return!

We recently hosted our son’s communion at Mondello Ristorante prior to the revised covid guidelines. We had a guest count of 19... 10 adults and 9 kids The restaurant did a fantastic job of accommodating our request on very short notice. They were very flexible and was able to host our event prior to the restaurant opening for dinner service. Because we had our event earlier in the day our guests felt very comfortable being at a restaurant, the tables were separated in accordance with the Covid guidelines. To add to everyone’s well being we had assigned seating so everyone sat with people in their social bubble. The restaurant hosted a great event, the Manager Bence was so easy to work with. He was flexible, patient and understanding with our concerns about hosting an event during covid. The food was delicious! We went with the $56/person option. The antipasto was AMAZING! It was my favorite! We opted for the house wine red and white and was worth the money. The service was well planned, our guests never went without anything. Bence was the host for us that day and our guests were always taken care of. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant for private functions, the food and service was excellent. It was a great ease working with Bence. Thank you for everything you did to make our day extra special including setting up the extra decor and being flexible to make sure our needs were met.

Recently dined at Mondello with my girlfriend. Very nice and clean decor. We ended up having the calimari, vodka was nene pasta and a bacon pizza. The calimari had very thin breading. Very different from what we are used to. The pizza was good. Had good flavours. The pasta unfortunately was not amazing. I think if it had more flavour it would have been better. Finished with a tiramisu that was really good. Over all a decent experience. Little pricey for what you get but not a terrible experience.

We live in this neighborhood and its our first time to dine here. Our experience is tremendous! Service is excellent and food is above expectations. Ambiance was above average. Will come back again for sure!

Ordered takeout. The server helping us was amazing of even if for a few minutes. The issue was with the food.We ordered rice balls, only to get home and the rice was still hard and undercooked-inedible. That was the biggie. The rest of food which was salmon and a chicken parm was that there was absolutely no salt/ pepper to taste with a very oily film on about everything other than the spaghetti.Not sure if I will give this place a shot again, maybe. I had high hopes, but quite disappointed.
