We come here once a year and they haven’t kept up with quality. It’s still really good Chinese food but there are lots of better options around.

Plates always dirty and has grease on them from not sure how many previous guests. Disgusting service. No service at all. It seems everyone owes them money. Or too much Botox makes them impossible to smile.

Food qualities and prices are acceptable. Service standards vary per servers. Managers are always friendly and courteous. However biggest disappointment is their fish dishes, for using cheap tasteless BASA to disguise as grouper or sole! I dare not order their fish dishes any more.

Weekends expect minimum 30 mins wait. Get your number and wait inside if you can sneak a spot to stand. They don't take reservations for under 7 ppl. 3 adults and 2 children were sufficiently stuffed for $100. Dimsum circulates quickly enough in carts but you must wait until they come by, you can't order dimsum independently like regular noodle dishes or items from their regular menu. Service is quick and straight to the point. White linen tables.

Good dim sum within this vicinity. The traditional pushing cart dim sum style would be nice as it is more authentic. However, they come out SO slowly that most of our time we spent on waiting. They could make more business if they make the food faster, as there are always people waiting at the door for tables. I would rather to use the dim sum order form instead. For some reasons the pushing cart ladies never announce what they are pushing like the old restaurants. A lot of time they just pass right by you.Correction: There was a smart manager came by and asked us what we wanted. He came to deliver the food personally. That was nice.

They are not honest people. Check your final bill. I was overcharged 1 dish of Dim Sum which was rectified after I pointed it out. Food and service so so. Will avoid this place as much as possible.

One of the few places left with authentic canto cuisine and dishes done well. Braised pork with preserved veges, Peking duck, all great.

CAUTION - dim sums are only served till lunch.Went here for dinner today. Ordered stir fry schezuan shrimp and scallops, soup, and beef noodles with bean sprouts. Soup was not hot, no salt in the noodles and shrimp lacked flavour.

Traditional, Authentic Chinese Food. Summit Garden has been serving the Mississauga community for many decades now, There was a period of time in the past when we did not visit due to declining food quality and service. However, over the past two years, we've been coming back more regularly to have dim sum, dine-in and take-out dinner options, and to dine with friends for special menu selections. Since then, service has improved greatly and the majority of service staff are pleasant and accommodating (with one exception). The dim sum ladies and head floor server provide excellent service. Summit offers traditional dim sum items in push-carts. The dim sum portions are of reasonable size and good quality. However, I would prefer a made-to-order dim sum option where you could mark your choices (perhaps an optional limited push cart could remain for more popular items on busy days). I find the push-cart selections are more limited than in past years. After the first couple of rounds, the same dim sum choices go round and round. The past couple of visits, there was no congee, stuffed eggplant and tofu, or other standard items you normally see. One of the server staff said that the congee would be pushed out - it never was on three occasions that we were there and she did not offer to check with other staff; one time we were fortunate that they made stuffed eggplant and tofu after we asked for it. It would also be good if they offered special fusion or non-traditional dim sum choices - that would be a differentiator to make them stand out against competitors. The dine-in menu has been excellent - regular favourites are Peking Duck - 2 course with Pan Cakes, Diced Duck/vegetables and lettuce wrap, Ginger Onion Lobster, Singapore Spicy Vermicelli, Beef Ho Fun (Beef with Rice Noodle in Soy Sauce), Snow Pea Pod Leaves with garlic, Sizzling Black Been Chicken, Special Pre-Order Suckling Pig, and Special Order Rice with Soft Shell Crab The special take-out menu package did not meet expectations. For some reason, the taste was not the same as dine-in. Perhaps it was a different chef looking after take-out that day. Overall, ambiance is good and the restaurant is large. Some of the prices are slightly higher than other restaurants, especially for fried noodles and rice dishes. Not all the prices on their Website are up to date. Portion sizes are fair. Be prepared for a bit of a wait to be seated if you are having dim sum on a weekend.
