I was not happy. Got the ox tail and it was not soft. I left all the meat on the bone. Very pricey however I could accept the price if it was good, it was not good. Also got one piece of the fried chicken this was not bad.

Me and the wife went here for lunch today was our First time has brand new ownership walking in at 1st glance place was super clean , greeted by the owner and the food was ? I had the Jerk chicken wife had the chicken roti both were full of flavor freshly cooked will be back again this place was Delicious!!!!!!Parking: Lots of free parking no issues at all

Sunrise has gotten a bad rap over the years but this location and my main on Markham/Sheppard are solid.Oxtail still banging and coleslaw at this location on fire. Even the plantain still soft and delicious.But the oxtail meal is 22.50 and Irish Moss 6.50?I blame that bumbaclot Trudeau for this foolishness.

I would just like to say that I eat here twice a week and the two ladies that work there are great to speak to and order with ! Food always fresh and delicious! God bless!
Service was unfriendly. My roti was so salty I couldn’t get more than 3 bites in. The fried chicken was dry and flavourless. I was up charged $1.50 for half a thimble of hot sauce to add to my roti which normally you can choose your heat level for. Do yourselves a favour and go less than half a kilometre east and get great service and amazing food at Wanda’s. I have no affiliation with them
