It is our weekly Friday ritual after grocery shopping to stop by Swiss Chalet and get dinner. Over the years many have served us at the checkout counter. I always preorder so it should be a quick pickup. Lots of times no one is watching the takeout counter. I’ve had to wait sometimes up to five minutes for two men standing over by the phone doing nothing to acknowledge me and call someone. Very disheartening. The best employee to ever work the take out cashier is Kanwal. She is always at her register. She always greets with a smile and my transaction takes less than a minute to process. If only everyone who worked there had the great customer service that Kanwal has. Whenever I come in and don’t see her I know it’s not going to be a quick in and out transaction. She truly is the best employee that’s ever been hired. A true delight everytime I come in.

I have been a customer of Swiss Chalet for many years and dine in at least once a week. We happened to be in Mississauga and decided to have lunch. I must say with all honesty, the chicken had absolutely no flavour, which I have never encountered at Swiss Chalet. The fries were not the same quality either. However, this has been the same at other locations and we were informed by one that they were using a different vendor and by another that the potatoes were different. The server was very kind and offered to change the fries and grill the chicken, which unfortunately would not have made any difference.
I usually buy take out meals with my son from this restaurant. The servers are very friendly, nice food

Best fish and chips I've had in years! The fish was perfect; fresh, tender, flaky and not overwhelmed by a copious amount of greasy batter as is usually the case with battered fish. (Sometimes there is more batter than fish?.) The tartar sauce was very good and I've always loved Swiss Chalet french fries and Swiss Chalet sauce.
