Two stars is for the hostess who was polite. On balance with the review. $6 Evian , friend opened it before I noticed it wasn't a bottle of flat water which most restaurants bring to you if you don't ask for anything else like Sanpellegrino ... If given a choice, and Tandoori had it, I would've PAID for Sanpellegrino. Like others have mentioned about the bottled flat water issue, the server needs to INFORM the guest it's a billable bottle of water. The 1.5 hour seating time was ridiculous when we were intentionally early enough to not impede on the guests who would come for 7pm,and later. My preference is to eat at 7pm,and later. Food I knew could be hit,or miss at a buffet I have never eaten at. Especially post COVID drama, people's hygiene was top of mind. I found Tandoori Flame replenished the food slower than I wanted with that imposed time limit. For example, I was not getting my goat, plus lamb without a wait to ONLY get one of the two as my "allotted" time closed in. The roti, I swore there was a hair with the piece I reloaded after the first one that was so fresh, and good. This ruined my meal. Desserts , plus food. I would say AYCE places like: spoon & fork , k&b , Fairmount Gold , Marriott Concierge lounge are better. The server Faraz. In the service industry you ought to know your audience. It dawned on me at the end of the meal when he handed my dining mate the bill he was sucking up to the person he assumed was paying. I was amused at his assumption. I still gave an 18% gratuity for not receiving the "service" directed at my dining mate, for a sort of "okay" buffet where I am serving myself. Another area for a complaint, they preset the gratuity so you would need to deal with backing out of the screen... For an Indian fix. I will pass, and go to a traditional ma & pa spot,or another buffet others rate higher.

Best Indian buffet I've ever been too. Selection and quality were 5 stars. Make sure you come hungry

Went on Sun., Dec.17 - this was the worst brunch of my life with the screaming kids, the loud service area and the fact that there was no Tandoori chicken for our entire lunch. When I complained to the wait staff I was told to wait for another 5 mins after waiting for 15 mins. I mean really can the kitchen staff not manage when they will need to refill one of the dishes after all it's Sun. brunch, come on what a joke an to add insult to injury the bill was over $80.00 for 2 of us, that's just for food, with some food not being replenished. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS PLACE.

This place charged us 12% gratuity on top of 12% tips on the total bill. We had buffet lunch there was no need to pay tips anyways but we still did. We were also charged $5.99 for a bottle of water. What a rip off. It is a total scam.

I have been to this restaurant on Mavis several times over the past six months and the food is not great but its fair. My problems started when I ordered through Skip The Dishes. I have ordered 3 times over the past month and all three orders where wrong. I don't think its unreasonable to expect to receive the items that you actually order. The first time I got a little annoyed. The second time I got mad. The third time I was pissed. I called the restaurant and spoke with the manager. I was expecting to hear some kind of attempt to make me feel that I am appreciated for being a loyal customer but NO!! First she tried to blame Skip The Dishes and I told her I'm not going for that. Then I asked her how she's going to make this right. All she said was I'm sorry there's nothing I can do for you. I don't expect this review to change anything but I felt compelled to write it because I couldn't believe the lack of caring that a manager has for one of their customers. If you deal with them I hope you have better luck then I did. I will not be returning.

Nice place. Food was ok. Service was poor. Took forever to get a server. After waiting some time to be seated we were told we had only limited amount of time. Biggg turnoff. Never going back there. Some good item were ok other were not.

Shady business practices. When you ask for water, they give you a bottle and the cost is $5. However, they don't tell you theres a charge at all. When we weren't finished the first bottle, they gave us another bottle and tried to charge us for that too. Luckily we didn't open it or that would have been another $5. Lastly, when I got the payment machine, they just handed me it when it was at the tip option without even showing the total number. Obviously it's a scam. I had to ask for the receipt to see what the upcharge was. Scummy practice overall. Food is average at best as well. Would not recommend.

Tandoori Flame has had this Mississauga location for years and we finally decided to give it a try. We have eaten at the Brampton location a couple times a long time ago. I did read the reviews on Yelp before going and did note that the ratings are not that good, however Indian buffets in the area are kind of rare now a days, and we did not want to take the drive to Bombay Palace (which has been our go to for Indian buffet since Masala Bites closed). So, despite the 2+ star rating in Yelp, we gave this place a try. It turns out, the Yelp reviews were correct as usual. The service was actually pretty good, the front desk was friendly, although they made sure we knew that they had a 1 hour and 30 minute seating limit. We arrived on a Saturday at about 12:00 PM and we were seated right away. The restaurant was about one third full at that time, and only two thirds full when we left, so the time limit was not needed since they had plenty of seating. Our dishes were cleared promptly after each round of the buffet. The food was ok, some of the curries were colder than others and some tasted better than others. So, it was a mix of good and not so great buffet options. The mutton was tough, the goat was good, and the best was the lamb curry. The chili chicken was one of the worst offerings. The desert was pretty good though with nice selection. Overall, this food was average, and the service was good. I did heed the warning that several Yelpers posted in their reviews and did not open the bottle of water on the table. It is a trap, and they would have charged us a lot for drinking that water. Instead, we asked the waitress for water which she brought in different glasses. So, thank you Yelpers for the warning.

We went there for Lunch Buffet on Thursday. Buffet was HUGE! - reminded me of Barbecue Nation in Pune. Paani puri, Soup, 4 appetizer varieties., Pav bhaji, 20 different salad varieties, Biryani, 10 different Entree's , 14 types of sweets, 20 flavors of icecream. And not to forget a full bar! I am sure I still have forgotten a few things! The place is big with close to a 100 tables, there was no wait time, although we did reach late for lunch (2.30pm) Service was fast and everyone was very polite and the food was always warm and being replenished quickly. Food taste was good for a buffet. I am sure it would be better for their Ala Carte ordering. Tha ambiance is very well done!!

We had a family dinner plans for to tr inidian Buffet. Intentions: to provide you reality check to lower your expectations for service Variety and taste. Good capacity, ambiance, and great location. Poor food selection and bad layout. Sorry, state of Management. Clearly, it seems like Noboy cares about attitude. Staff training is clearly very, very bad. Food selection is sadly lowest. Quality of preparation of uality is

I thought this was a great Indian buffet with lots if variety. The snack and dessert stations were great. There’s something for everyone, non- spicy, vegetarian, etc.

It was the worst experience. The food quality was very poor and also cold. The staff was not friendly. They say customer is wrong and do not accept their mistake. You can not win an argument with them. Environment was also not good.
