Staff is always friendly, great corn bread great prices but thier croquettes di bacalau (cod fish cakes) are the absolute best we have ever had and better than home made, truly .

Their "netinhos" are the best. Crunchy and always so fresh. It's also where you can find a good variety of portuguese style sweets, cakes and even groceries.
Almost can't go wrong with items like Pao da avo and broa. These are my staples. Often get other goodies from here, mostly things that I find hard to get in my neighborhood (20/30 minutes drive). Only one time I left with 2 bags full of awesome netinhos (small pao da avo) only to find that someone forgot to put salt in that batch! A bit disappointed then... I just had to use a bit more butter!

I used to order from here, but since the new owner took over i don't come anymore. Everything is so different. Pastries, patties bread etc, it doesn't taste good.

We have been ordering our cakes here for many years.Minus during the pandemic. Ready to order our usual birthday cake was asked to call back as they were busy. No problem totally understand. Called back and was informed they could not do any cake order. Very disappointing as we could have ordered elsewhere if told that at the first call. This was a special cake in our family and while we now lost our tradition which is unfortunate. I am rising to the challenge of a new tradition elsewhere and an even better cake. Will be hard as this cake was amazing. Disappointed but I guess this is how business run these days.
