This place is a new favourite of my family. The service was exceptional, the food was too notch and we will be returning with a larger group next time.
Feeling absolutely wonderful, thank you for taking my tastebuds on a joy ride!

Can we give more stars? Have you ever been to a Jamaican restaurant with good food AND good service? Well, now you can. Donna and Glennmore (the owners) are some of the most genuinely kind and thoughtful people I've ever met, and their food is so delicious! I think they genuinely have an ingredient in the kitchen labelled "love" because you won't find food this tasty from someone who doesn't love what they do and the people they serve. If you need to satisfy your craving for Jamaican food, go see them! You will leave happy and FULLVegetarian options: Vegetarian options are available on each section of the menu but it's just one option per section.Parking: It's in a small plaza with a parking lotKid-friendliness: Kids seats available. They do have a kids menu.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs to get in and a handicap bathroom. The entry might be a bit tight but it's possible

We went for lunch today and once again were so pleased with the food and the wonderful warm welcome by Jay. I had Oxtail and it was great the side of the plantain was perfect . The Rice and Pigeon Peas were the best I have ever had.Not our first visit and I have to say this was just the best today.
This is a Lil secret in Ottawa! The food is delicious. Lots of vegan options. I had the Buss Up Shut Roti with vegetables. Everyone at the table enjoyed their food. The service was local style. Great conversation, very knowledgeable about the menu and food options. Very willing to make changes to the menu to accommodate your preferences. The place is very clean and welcoming. A must do when you are in Ottawa. A taste of the island in the middle of cold Canada. Thank you to the Lil Negril staff. Complements to the chef.

I've had both lunch and supper at Lil Negril. Both times the food was very good and the service by Jay and Donna was warm and friendly. It's a great Centrepointe neighbourhood restaurant!
