Amazing authentic Indian food! I have tried all the new restaurants in the area and this is by far the best! They cook their naan in a traditional tandoor oven right in front of you. I have been going back for 18 years. An oldie but a goodie!

Had an amazing experience with my boyfriend today, although it was the weekend the owner/staff offered us the lunch special menu which is normally for tuesday to friday. I ordered the chicken madras lunch special with naan, and my boyfriend got the lamb vindaloo lunch special with naan. The spice level for both dishes were great. The naan is freshly made and isn't one of those cheaply bought and reheated ones. I think the naan's that they make are so unique and extremely fresh! The guy who took our order offered us a complimentary dessert of Gulab Jamun which made the experience much more wonderful. Overall the server/owner was extremely hospitable! The food amazing! 10/10 would definately come again! I'm hoping to try their spiciest curry next time! ?

If you are looking for a delicious meal with good portions at a reasonable price you have to check out India Gate Exclusive Indian Cuisine in Newmarket. The friendly staff are always helpful and will make your dining experience worthy of a return visit. Today I had the chicken dhaba, rice, paneer naan and mango lassi. Safe to say I will definitely be coming back.

We went to India Gate for dinner and it was truly the best! Service was fast, garlic naan is very fresh and made to order. We ordered Tikka Masala Chicken and Butter Chicken. Both were amazing. So good that my partner actually took an extra order to go for lunch the next day!

I went in for a take out dinner, spent over $70 for 3 meals; the potions are extremely small, I got 3 tiny pieces of chicken in the chicken biryani, the lamb was mushy overcooked! What a waste of my money!
