Nice staff and store is quite aesthetically pleasing. I appreciate that the calories and Nutritional value are listed as well as not many bubble tea shops include this information. I recommend Taro and Milk King. Nice to see Newmarket have these type of stores nowadays and not just Toronto.!

went here on a weekday afternoon with no one else in line. I thought to myself that it would take 5 minutes max since there was no one else in line. Not only was the lady rude, she also took 15+ minutes to make my one drink. when I received my order, I was highly unsatisfied with the quality of the drink. I ordered a pearl milk tea but it had no taste whatsoever. It just tasted like water. I’ve been to other KFT stores around the gta and never had this problem. They really need to quality control and to get better staff. I don’t know who is serving the people who are giving 5 stars, but it surely isn’t the person who served me. I am never coming to this location ever again. Go to coco instead

would give this 0 stars but it is not an option. I went here on a weekday and waited 20 minutes for my drink when no one else was in line. For some reason, she was yelling at me and a bunch of other kids. I used to love this place before when they first opened and the staff then were amazing. I feel like the boss needs to hire better staff. The quality is really declining these days. This was a very unenjoyable experience and I would NOT be coming back.

Store manager called cops, said we were trespassing because they didn’t make our drinks right and we went back for an exchange. We ordered 4 drinks, got home, and found out 0/4, literally NOTHING we got, was what we ordered. We took them back to the store, showed them to the staff, explained the situation. Manager (the one who took our order) shows up, lead us to back section of the store so we wouldn't bother other customers. After explaining the situation once more, he said "I'm sorry that we did not make what you ordered, but WE DID NOTHING WRONG ." That's right, he said that repeatedly. So I've decided to record this nonsense and show it to him. He said we didn't get what we ordered, not because they made it wrong, but because "you didn't speak properly". We again pointed out that NOT ONE of the drinks he made was what we ordered, so he tried to come up with specific reasons for each drink that they made. By the time he got to the third drink, he literally couldn't 't come up with any more excuses, so HE CALLED THE POLICE, SAYING WE, AS PAYING CUSTOMERS, ARE TRESSPASSING AT THIS PROPERTY.This is when the owner showed up (95% sure she was his mom), she kept talking about how WE are communicating with bad attitude, how she wanted us to first correct our ATTITUDE and speak to her with a better tone. She then started questioning us how we can PROVE WHAT WE SAID WHEN ORDERING. We kept telling her all she needs to do is go in and grab the drinks they made us, and compare it to our order. Finally she did that, and realized THEY ACTUALLY DIDN' T MAKE ANYTHING WE ORDERED, and from that point on she literally stopped talking, probably because she understood how ridiculous the whole thing was.Two police cars showed up, heard our story, told us it was a waste of public service, and ORDERED THEM to REDO OUR DRINKS.We ordered 4 drinks on the afternoon of April 21st. After taking them home, we found that none of them were what we wanted. When I brought it back for a replacement, I watched the teenage "manager" say over and over again, "We didn't do anything wrong, you ordered the wrong thing. When you ordered, you didn't say the right thing." Then he started explaining one cup at a time why they did this. One drink was not what we asked for, and by the time we had the third drink, we couldn’t say anything anymore and decided to call the police. We told the police that we came to the store for trespassing. At this time, the boss (most likely the manager's mother) came, sat down and said, "What is your attitude now? What I want now is your attitude." I ordered four drinks, but none of them were done right. What can be solved in 5 minutes, your manager has to spend an hour holding a forum to explain that he is absolutely right. What kind of attitude do you want?We showed her WeChat and said that this is what we read when ordering. When you go to see the surveillance, the boss started to say again, "How can you prove that this is what you said when ordering?"Finally we said, "You just need to take out the drinks we ordered from your kitchen and see if they have anything to do with my order, and then you will understand." The aunt kept scribbling for more than ten minutes, and finally took it out to look at. After reading it once, I was probably dumbfounded. I stood up immediately and didn't say a word. I kept trying to call the "manager" away. Finally two police cars came. After listening to what we said, the police went in and stared at them as they remade our drinks.

Literally took 20 minutes to receive a single lychee iced tea, with only 1 other customer ahead of me. The worker had absolutely 0 urgency to make my drink and even almost forgot to make my drink. To make things worse, the whole drink was 80% ice watered down with almost no taste. Horrible employee at this location.

Terrible service. I had to wait for 15+ minutes and there were no one in line. They kept walking away when I was trying to order. Please don't come here. Go to The Alley instead!! ?They're so slow at their job and there is only one person making the drinks. They need to hire more people.

Ordered two milk teas here and noticed they tasted burnt, particularly their tapioca. The tapioca was also too soft and not chewy making me think they’re far overcooked. There were also these gritty pieces that tasted burnt. When I dumped out the drinks into a clear cup, I could see these dark burnt bits very clearly (you can see on my spoon and on the inside of the cup). It seems like the tapioca were not made fresh and despite having been burnt to the point of having dark burnt bits, they were still served to customers. Very disappointed at the quality control of this location. I’ve been to three other Kung Fu Tea locations across the GTA and never had this issue. Threw out both drinks halfway through. Given how expensive these drinks are getting and how much of a treat it is to order them, I hope the manager of this location will re-evaluate the quality control procedures to ensure this doesn’t occur again.

Always order the Earl Grey milk tea. It's the best anywhere!

We came in as a group of 4 an hour before closing and the server was so mad. We thought an hour before closing would be fine to order a bubble tea and sit n talk for abit but the man working gave us the dirtiest look and kept sighing really loud towards us. We felt like we were being watched and we felt the hate that was radiating of him. It was dead silent in the store apart from his sighing and exclamations of frustration as he was making our bubble teas. The options were limited because he didnt want to do anything that required too much work so the waffle machine was conveniently "broken" and there was no more tapioca or cheese foam. We enjoyed the drinks we got but the service and atmosphere was bad enough that we will not come back.

Decent service, good chain, it's nice to see a bubble tea shop on this side of Newmarket. It was a bit disappointing that they had run out of boba by 8:30 when they close an hour later, but they did still have other toppings available. While the staff member was friendly, he was very soft spoken and it was hard for him to hear us, or for us to hear him, over the unnecessarily loud music blasting over our heads. Inevitably, he got our order wrong. Will still likely go again, but please turn down the volume so the staff can actually hear the customers!

I always go here for yummy boba but I had their milk tea for twice and always get a stomach ache after. But it is good place if you want to have boba but they have too less people so sometimes u need to wait longer. They have only two sizes and sometimes the cashier lady doesn't understand you really well.

Used to like this place a lot....but my experience lately hasn't been so positive: frozen and clumped sago in my drink, and 6 bucks for latte without tea.....it's become my last resort for bbt these days.
