One-star George, small bakeries can't afford to stock the shelves full hoping for the customers to come. Goes without saying. Order ahead if you don't want to be disappointed. I was very happy after my first ( but not last!) visit yesterday. Awesome Finnish munkkis!

Ordered 2 loaves of their deluxe pulla with raisins and almonds. Loved it and they didn't skimp on the cardamom. Will definitely order again.

Good taste. But since it changed owners it is moving further and further from authentic Finnish baking. The very yeast heavy, fluffy pulla is a far cry from the way Finnish pulla is made. The Nordics use less yeast and spend more time making thinner/tighter baked goods. Won't be buying the pulla again anytime soon. If I want fluffy dough I can spend less and get it at the local grocery bakery

Unleas you place an order for anything 2 weeks prior to your visits to this bakery. Especially prior to any holiday, then Dont bother going in cause if you didnt order anything 2 weeks prior you'll get nothing. Merry Christmas Hyvaa Joulua. Very very disappointing . Should place a sign on the door reminding people unless you placed an order 2 weeks prior dont bother coming in cause there will be no product for you.Kauheaa!

Small European bakery that also carried some small Viking brand herring. The baked items were quite good but there was a limited selection. Could be my fault for arriving later in the afternoon. We love the Viking herring products. Needless to say, it saved us from driving to Toronto. The lady serving us was quite pleasant and came from Europe. Products looked tasty and fresh. Calling before arriving may be suggested for product update.

Delicious donuts, I had the apple and it was fresh and full of fruit. Definitely recommend
The is delicious, I've never had a poached like this. The perfect amount of spices I'll definitely going back for more, the lady behind the counter was lovely, I came in just before closing and the shelves were empty, I got the last of the rum balls. Yummy yum yum Thank you very much for your help I highly recommend

The staff is amazing and we always feel welcome when we go. My wife is from Finland and it just brightens her day when we decide to go to the bakery! Everything is made with love and you can taste it! It's a cozy place and we always feel like family when we stop by!
