Our server, John never really checked in on us. My wife's steak was undercooked and we were only checked in on once I was almost done my meal. He brought it back to the kitchen, and when it came back, it was burnt on the outside and still undercooked on the inside. I think our experience would've been better had there been a follow up on how the steak was after it was returned. I also would've ordered another glass of wine instead we were given the bill. the view is spectacular but overpaying for a subpar meal and service on top of an over priced photo really wasn't worth a visit

Horrible food, less than average, i guess owners rely on one time tourists visits, they know they are attractive for the view and no effort to make descent food, dont waste your money

The view was good but the light show of the falls didn't start until after 930pm and then it just stayed half red. After 10pm, the other colors started to trickle in the falls. I understand that Skylon has no control over the lighting of the falls. However, they do have control over the temperature inside. It was very hot inside and only 65 degrees outside at 8pm. The food was ok. Filet was very chewy and scallops (appetizer) were cold in the center. Raspberry martini was good. Never asked if I would like another which was odd to me, because I would have ordered another. Service was more like hurry up so we can seat the next tourist.

You asked if the reservation was for a special occasion. I answered, YES.....for a birthday. Why if there was no recognition of the birthday, did you ask ? Kind of disappointing. If you are not going to even throw in a free desert, then DON'T ASK.

It's a great view and service was friendly and prompt. The food was just ok. The portions are huge and I'd rather have quality over quantity. I'm not fond of food presented as a scoop as the sweet potatoes were on the plate.

We were celebrating our granddaughter's birthday and it could not have been more lovely. Thank you to the maitre'd and all the wait staff for making it a wonderful experience

Food is good. A bit pricy but it's touristy so they will gouge you there but it's good overall. Great experience and kids loved it! The only thing we didn't like, we felt very rushed to order. I think they want to turn over tables quickly and it was a bit much.

Our waitress was incredibly rude and brusque with us. Food was served cold and had to be returned. It took 15 minutes to get a Diet Coke. When I brought it to their attention, they had no concerns only excuses, and when I asked for an apology, the steward gave me an apology as he walked away 15 feet. When the bill came, I had to give no tip and I think they recognize that so they didn't even ask for one. They build me out without allowing me to give a tip.

My wife and I were celebrating our 20 year anniversary and we treated our niece and her husband for their five year anniversary. Making the reservation was fairly easy online. The ride in the elevator to the top is included with lunch. The menu is very good in the staff is great. We will definitely be returning.

Location location location! We had lunch for 4 adults 3 children . Even with lunch prices the bill with 20% tip was $618.00. Each child's entree was 40$. A hamburger and fries is 40$ too! No children's menus available. The elevator and observatory are certainly part of the price. Pictures cost $40 for 2 or 25 for 1. Bit high for pictures . Out waiter was overly friendly but quite nice. Very disappointed in my entree a $48 salmon dinner with 3 rubbery shrimp and 3 over cooked and rubbery scallops.. not acceptable at those prices .. although at least the salmon was properly cooked. No credit was offered.

Our waiter took 45 min to take my order for drinks, he kept coming to talk to my husband and leaving the third time I had to stop him and tell him to take my order. Wasn't able to have any conversation with my husband every time we were talking he would come and interrupt for another 10 min talk to my husband about welland

This whole restaurant is a scheme to get you in the door and then up charge you, there is a forced tip, a minimum per person, and you are required to get a main course per person in addition to the minimum, and the cheapest meal is about $55 CAD, that being said the experience is neat and the view is amazing, if you are planning on eating here for a great meal, think again, but if you’re wanting the experience of going up and sitting in a revolving dining room, go for it! Had the salmon and my friend had the stroganoff. The stroganoff was nothing to write home about as the meat was tough, sauce was bland, and the choice of having peppers in it was a bit off-putting. However the salmon was excellent with the light flavor of hollandaise, and a very good portion. It was a bit disappointing that they didn’t have the sweet potato mash and green beans with my dish that I saw in recent photos. Instead there was an under seasoned piece of broccoli and two round potatoes. Views were spectacular, and the revolving feature is what really made the whole experience. Overall, despite somewhat lackluster food, my friend and I had a great time!

Pretty disappointing experience all around. We had reservations but they still made us wait almost 30 minutes to seat us. There are no seats to sit in while you wait to be seated. They got the meat temperature wrong on 3 different orders. Ignored a stated allergy we told them about at the beginning of the meal. The food was only average at best. The wait staff was very inattentive. Overall nowhere close to worth what we spent. The view is great but considering the required minimum per person spend, you’re better off just paying to go up to the observation deck without the meal.
